When you're with me, no judgement.

"Okay, so can you tell me what happened when you healed Derek? What were you thinking about? Was it something specific?" Stiles asked Lydia as he sat down on the coffee table in front of her.

"I-I don't know" Lydia answered hesitantly as she looked at Derek. He gave her a reassuring smile.

Derek didn't know how Lydia did it. He had never seen or felt anything like it before. The usual feeling of his body healing itself was just relief. Relief that the pain went away. But in the animal clinic it felt completely different. The relief was still there, but he felt different.

He felt...at home. It was like that one time he came home from a long school trip. The beginning of the trip was really fun, but the last few days of the trip he started to get homesick. He missed his family. The feeling he got when he saw his family waiting for him as he got off the bus, was exactly the same feeling he felt when Lydia healed him that day at the animal clinic.

Lydia felt like family.

"I-I didn't want him to die." Lydia said, speaking softly as she continued to pet Moony. "I just wanted him to be okay."

Derek smiled gently at her. As he walked past her to take a seat next to her on the couch, he before sitting down.

"Okay." Stiles nodded slowly. "So, you thought about Derek being okay." he mumbled to himself.

Peter looked at her thoughtfully. "You said you had imaginary friends, didn't you?"

Lydia looked up at Peter, wide eyed. Her heart pounding loudly in her chest. Why did he say that? People didn't want to be friends with her because they thought she was crazy for having imaginary friends. What if they start to think she's crazy too? She doesn't want to lose her friends, she really liked them.

Her thoughts were quickly stopped as she looked up at the people in the room. She expected to see judgmental looks. She expected them to look at her like she was strange, crazy.

But they didn't.

There were no judgmental looks or glances. None at all.

Stiles was looking at her with a soft look in his eyes. Although his eyebrows were raised slightly in surprise. He hadn't expected that. Imaginary friends? It was totally fine if she had imaginary friends. He thought it was adorable. He could never think anything negative about Lydia.

Jackson had the same soft look in his eyes as Stiles did, a gentle smile on his face as he looked at her. He wasn't too surprised about her imaginary friends. He has seen her drawings. All those beautiful places and cute little creatures. He saw how Lydia drew them with so much admiration. He couldn't wait for the day when they would cuddle together on the couch and talk about her adorable little animal friends.
