"I wanna be a hero"-

"Oh you want to?"- a voice answered him, joseph looked around but saw nothing, everything is pitch black, everything, yet suddenly eyes showed up containing a weird type of curiosity...the eyes seemed serious and full of intention. Slowly, they all expand in size and even seem distorted.

"May you not regret those words"-

"May you not------

"May-----......

" Joseph!!, wake up you're going to be late in class"-

"...joseph!!"-

Hearing no response from the sleepy head, the man burst open the door with a kick of his feet, 60 degree high up in the sky, in goes his door to paradise.

"And i just bought that"-

the man said with his mouth curling upward.

In late Thursday at market Gloria, 6:00 pm in the street of 17th daffodils, $150, it was the price he bought it with, it was quite expensive but now it's dead and broken in pieces, yet surprisingly he wasn't all disappointed cause a part of him believed himself to be cool in some way or another but the thought of  joseph in his bed nearly took away his joy close to celebration. Due to the extreme flow of his mixed emotions, the complexity, all the man could get out was a laugh and a curl on his tongue.

As he scan the room, he noticed the blanket still in bed, shaping an unusual shape of a diamond due to the force pulling it from both side, up and down.

With his hand turning into a fist, he trembled in fury, for how long does he have to wake him up, it's already 7:30 am and his still not awake. He smacked his lips and folded his anger in his heart, held the blanket and pulled it in one go. With one pull, it felt like gravity has gone down to earth, coating his hands, causing a brief earthquake, dusting the shelves and the walls, every nooks and cranny, surely joseph is now awake but what he saw laying in bed was a child full of sweat, carrying a heavy expression as if pained.

With one look, the man could already tell what's happening with the boy, his inside one of those nightmares or whatever and according to the expert so to say, a doctor, they have to be woken up with care----that is IF one even care, which he obviously doesn't, so with his palm, straight up, he slapped him in the face and told him to wake up or he'll be late for school which naturally woke him up but he seemed surprised.

Joseph scanned the room with his squinted eyes due to the excessive light brushing over his pupils, suddenly he felt a pain in his cheek so he touched it only to pull away, is this real, am i still dreaming?, joseph thought to himself, touching his pained cheeks for the second time only to figure it out.

"Are you awake now?"-

the man said which made joseph pouted his lips in complete sea rock bottom, folded his arms into a cross and grumpily stood up to step out of the room, storming his way to every wooden floor. he's late he knows, it's always been like this after all.

"Joseph"-

His uncle called to him, joseph turned to look at the criminal who slapped his face to reality, honestly he was indeed having a nightmare and he was grateful to his uncle for waking him up but the slap on the cheek halves it, joseph doesn't really know whether he deserve a thanks or a payback for the injustice he encountered in straight daylight.

"..what?"-

His uncle reminded joseph that he is late for school which shock joseph and due to this he immediately ran across every room to get his things, money from his uncles room, food from the kitchen, just a piece of bread and jam that his uncle has already prepared, during this time he saw another money laid on the table so he took it then wore his bag, and went to school with a ride on his flimsy bicycle.

At home, his uncle rearranged the things he messed up in josephs room and went to the kitchen only to see another mess, the tablecloth is distorted along with the plates and glass of water, even his morning tea was ruined, it splattered on the tablecloth oh! Another laundry to go but fortunately he didn't forget the money, after that he went to his room and the first thing he saw was his bag on the floor and his wallet empty?....

"...JOSEPH!!!"-

It was lunch time so joseph went to the cafeteria and to his surprise he has more than his allowance in his pocket and that's where it hits him, he took the money from his wallet while also taking the allowance money on the table. He looked at the money and said to himself.

"Lucky me"-
