While driving back to the  apartment, jaewon stopped the car at the side of road and pointed towards an ice cream shop,.

“ Let me treat you to an ice cream for being the best boy.” Jungkook almost gagged at his fake sugary voice.

“ I don't want that jaewon ,, I am tired and just want to sleep.” Jungkook closed his eyes leaning his head on the window pretending to sleep.

“ Kook, are you mad at me? Have I done something to offend you.? please forgive me,,  i apologize to you for whatever I have done."

“ Have you done something for me to be mad at you..” jungkook asked indifferent, His gaze turning into icy cold glares..

Jaewon's eyes widened at his statement, like a deer caught in headlights,. He stammerd “ nothing kook, you are my old friend why would I do something to offend you.”

Jungkook’s felt disgusted at his word, while closely observing he saw the flicker of fleeting hatred in jaewon's face, he kept himself neutral.

“ Jae i am already tired, stop bothering me. Let’s drive i need to pick my luggage from your place .."

Jaewon suddenly pulled breaks almost colliding jungkook's forehead to the car dashboard.

He shouted angrily while rubbing his aching forehead, " have you gone mad,, are you trying to kill us “

Jae came out of his daze and apologized humbly.” I was startled, you were…..”

“Let's talk later first you focus on driving,, I don't want to end up in a Hospital bed “ jungkook said sarcasm filling his tone..

Jaewon nodded his head and focused on the road ahead. Once they reach the apartment jungkook took his bag and was ready to leave , when jaewon held his wrist to stop him .

however a sudden sense of dread spread around jungkook at the unwanted touch.

He jerked his hand away, "don't touch me without permission. I am your friend , it would be better if you keep safe distance. i ‘ll stay in a hotel till I got a new apartment”

Before he can retort his phone rang, he saw the number and disconnected the call. "Jae try to understand i don't want taehyung to misunderstand our pure friendship. " Jungkook said softly.

Jungkook's eyes got filled with fake tears. " You know my marriage is already going through a rough patch. I trust you so much. I can't risk taehyung revealing our marriage in fit of anger.."

"But.." jaewon try to interrupt.

" No ,,buts jae..  this album is my priority..i can't lose this chance.." jungkook pleaded with teary eyes..

Jaewon stayed quite and let him go, however a malicious glint appeared in his eyes, “ how will you pay kook, your card is cancelled and you don't have money with you." Jungkook's bank card was cancelled when he lost his bag last time he came to seoul . After that he didn't bothered to get a new card..

Jaewon was still in the illusion that maybe Jungkook is mad at him for some reasons that's why he is  throwing tantrums like a spoilt kid. The reason jungkook gave five minutes ago fell on  deaf ears..
