                          [Ricarro's POV]

"XYDAD! XYDAD!" I called through the camp, running into the main hall with a goofy smile plastered on my face.

Xylo sighed as I reached him, his head in his hands, "Listen, Ricarro, if you have something that's not important to tell me, could it wait? I'm busy. Go find someone else to bother for once," he motioned to another camper I remember being called Dan, who had an awkward look on his face.

"Oh, ok, sorry..." I put on a fake smile like usual and skipped away to try to find Cal. Surely he'll listen to me, right?

"MUM!" I hugged Cal as I reached him, wrapping my arms around his lower stomach/back, seeing as that's what I could reach even though Cal was one of the shorter ones here at camp.

"Oh, hey Ricarro, everything ok?" Cal asked, sounding more tired than usual, which was weird because I could've sworn they'd never slept before.

I let go, and Cal turned around to face me, having a small smile on his lips and black bags until his eyes, which were hard to see against his 'guyliner' (that's what everyone calls it at least, although I don't know what that is).

"I just wondered if you had time to listen to my new story! I made it up last night and wrote it down, but I lost the paper, so I need to tell someone or else I'll probably forget it," I blurted it out, I was quite good at doing that, blurting out I mean (I rarely lose things!).

"Sorry, I'm really tired for some reason, I'm going to go to bed, maybe tell Xylo or something?" Cal patted my head before walking away.

"But..." I started, although it didn't matter. I heard Davis shouting at someone, probably Nero, so I decided to see if he'd listen and skipped away.

                                  [???'s POV]

I watched the short, white-haired male skip away as he held back tears, I could tell he was upset. I followed him from a distance, making sure to stay out of sight.

                             [Ricarro's POV]

"...you idiotic, cursed, dead, son of a!" Davis screamed at Nero, to which they, in return, had a poker face.

"Hey, big bro!" I called out to him, running over.

"Hold on, Ricar-bro, I'm dealing with an idiot right now," Davis didn't even turn to me and continued to scream at the spirit stuck with him like they were conjoined twins.

I didn't even dare to say goodbye, I could already feel the tears starting to pour and ran away to the beach.

                             [No one's POV]

Ricarro fell to the sandy ground, crying into his hands as they cupped his face. A moment or two later, Ricarro was pulled into a protective hug.

"It's ok, you're ok, let it out," an unknown voice held Ricarro close as he cried into the unfamiliar figure's chest.

The two sat in silence, only broken by the smaller ones' sobs that slowly slowed down.

Ricarro wiped his eyes with his hands and slowly realised he was being held.

"W-who's there?" Ricarro didn't move from his position. The only thing moving was the bigger ones hands loosening their grip.

"I'm surprised you didn't notice me to begin with, little bro," the voice said with a smile playing on their lips.

"L-Lychee?" Ricarro slowly looked up to see his 'brother' staring down at him.

"In the flesh and blood," Lychee smiled back down to him as he let Ricarro move away a bit to sit on his own.

"Wait a second, how did you find me?" Ricarro's smile turned to a frown as he crossed his legs in his sitting position.

"Well, I saw you talk with Cal, and Davis for that matter, and saw you were upset, so I followed you and came over when you sat down," Lychee had a more welcoming look on his face than usual, clearly trying to make sure Ricarro was ok and safe.

"Oh, ok then... did you..." Ricarro paused, "...hear what they said?" he finished and looked up again with a shy look on his face.

"Yes, I did," Lychee's face fell, making him look like he was just about ready to kill someone.

"Don't hurt them!" Ricarro begged, recognising the look on his face.

"Ehh, no promises," a smirk played on Lychee's lip.

The two sat in awkward silence once again before Ricarro broke the silence.

"Thank you, middle bro," Ricarro smiled up with weary eyes.

"You're welcome, little bro, I'm just glad you're ok," Lychee's smile matched Ricarro's.

"Aww, middle bro!" Ricarro lunged at Lychee, tackling him in a hug.

Lychee laughed as he hugged him back.

                               [Lychee's POV]

After a while, Ricarro managed to fall asleep in my arms midway through telling me his story.

I picked him up, a smile forming on my normally stone-cold face.

I put him in my cabin, seeing as it was close enough.

I placed his small figure on my bed and kissed him on the forehead as I let him sleep.

"Don't worry, I'll look after you, for as long as I live, little bro, trust me," I promised into the cold, night.
