Grek x Hubris (Idea by CelesteaLovesMC)
Just a little intro and explaining. So, its right after the second great war. In human years Grek is 18 and Hubris is 20.
Story 1: Unfortunate souls
Yeah Hubris survived and Ria died at crown peak.
Hubris looked at Ria's familiar markings. Now they were lit up on a gravestone. When she died it was almost like a part of him died or disappeared.
Grek: Still looking at that grave?
Hubris, muttering: Yeah.
Grek, while lifting Hubris: You'll need some fresh air.
Hubris rolled his eyes but didn't try to escape the Jaggathan's grasp. He actually found it quite comforting.
Grek, putting Hubris down: Sit and relax, I'll get 'cha some water, okay?
Hubris just nodded, mesmerized by the beautiful sunset in the horizon.
Grek stomped back with a cup of water.
Grek: Here take this.
Hubris grabbed the cup and took a tiny sip. Grek let himself fall down next to the ardoni.
Grek, jokingly: Now that you're done with all this fighting, you can find yourself a little pretty Nestoris girl.
Hubris splashed the water into Grek's face.
Grek: Hey! That's not fair, and it's gross.
Hubris, laughing: You will manage.
Hubris pushed Grek playfully. Grek smiled.
Grek: Is that a fight you're willing to take?
Hubris: Definitely.
- Pretty short, but I like it. Tbh I didn't really ship them in the beginning but I might start to.
Story 2: Who tops?
Hubris: I'm still older than you are!
Grek: Meh, you don't act like it.
Hubris, rolling his eyes: I don't act like it! You are the one acting like a child.
Grek, exaggerating: AM NOT!
Hubris, facepalms: That just proves my point.
Grek: I guess we both act like kids.
Grek: But that doesn't matter. I'm stronger anyways.
Hubris: And I am smarter!
Grek picked Hubris up.
Hubris, trying to escape: Oi, let me down!
Grek: Nah.
- Idk bro. I don't know who tops and neither do they.
Story 3: Replacement
Hubris and Grek had been travelling to some of the volcanic islands of the shore of Ardonia. Hubris wanted to settle down, but Grek kept dragging him on his stupid adventures.
Hubris, looking around: This place is hot, I don't like it.
Grek: Why all the complaining, it'll be fun, lots of fun!
Hubris sighed. Suddenly a large humanoid figure jumped from behind a rock. Hubris was quick to bring out his sword. They stopped, however, when they saw Grek. They dragged down their hood revealing them to be a female Jaggathan.
Female Jaggathan, suspiciously: What brings you here, and is he with you?
Grek: Wow, wow, wow, slow down. I'm Grek and that's Hubris. Yes, he's with me.
Female Jaggathan: God I hate these stupid security checkups! I'm Brenna.
Brenna: Sorry for the harsh treatment, it's just procedure.
Grek: No problem.
Brenna: But I am gonna have to take your weapons.
Grek eagerly handed her his diamond double-blade. Hubris reluctantly handed her his iron sword.
Brenna: Now that that's over we should go to the village.
The three walked into a large village. Many Jaggathans walked around peacefully.
-Time skip to three days later-
Grek had spent all his time with his kin and completely forgotten Hubris.
Hubris had had enough of this. He was leaving. Tonight. He snuck out and went down to the beach.
Grek had gone looking for him for the first time in three days. When he was nowhere to be found Grek frantically searched for him.
Later at the beach.
Grek: Hubris!
Grek: I've been looking all around for you.
Hubris, flatly: I doubt that.
Grek raised an eyebrow at Hubris' tone.
Grek: Something wrong?
Hubris: I'm getting tired of this place, getting tired of being left out or forgotten.
Grek: Hubris I-
Hubris: Just find me when you get home.
Grek: I'm sorry.
Hubris, over his shoulder while walking away: It's fine, I don't care what you do as long as you're happy.
Grek, running after him: But I care!
