Chapter 20, why it's removed:
The scene paints the bad side of Anu too soon. The author is worried that by leaving this scene in the book, the readers might grow early disinterest on Anu. Therefore, this scene has to be taken out.

Clothes soaked and clinging onto Anu's frame, he emerged from the waters of Poposi Island with quiet grace. His eyes remained on Princess Y/N, whose color was paled as if she saw a ghost.

With each step taken, he shook off the droplets from his body, feeling more lighter with every stride. His gaze were piercing. "It's not even three months, Y/N." He approached her with goosebumps on his arms. "Hand," he commanded.

In a very hesitated manner, the princess stretched her hand towards him.

Anu placed the ring on her palm before softly folding her fingers over it, closing her hand into a fist. "Don't expect me to go down on my knee," he told her.

Her eyes hardened into his. All hopes of him being the savior to her doubts have died. The revelation washed upon her face as she felt the burning pain behind her skull. Her vision turned blurred, as she began accepting the truth: He couldn't care less about her.

Him throwing his jacket onto her shivering body meant nothing. Him jumping down six feet into the waters meant nothing. Him putting this ring on her hand meant nothing.

Princess Y/N shut her eyes. The ring dropped from her hand. A softer voice uttered, "Is your knee broken or is your ego just fragile?"

She was waiting for him to say something. She was hoping for him to do something. She had nothing to believe in right now. She couldn't bear to see him anymore.

A gentle touch graced her shoulder. It was brief, but it happened. And it opened her eyes to see him closer to her. His other hand was on his phone, he was speaking to someone in another language she couldn't identify. But she was hoping for more.

As Anu ended the call, he looked at her with a pointed look. "I have transferred 10 million Euros into your account. That should cover."

And before she could even have the chance to speak, he continued, "That's why you choose to join the royal family of Switzerland, no? For the money. I believe 10 million should be enough, for now."

Then, he left her behind. She didn't chase after him. And if she had to be honest now, she couldn't really bring herself to go after him. He already decided she was some sort of gold digger. It wasn't just Anu, but it was almost everyone in her new circle.

If she ran after him, it would only prove Anu's point that she was desperate for more money. But if she let him walk away now, then she might never meet him again. He got her misunderstood, just like many others.

A good girl should wait patiently, but she was getting exhausted. If they really wanted angels flocking around, the boys should quit turning earth into hell.

"Anu, come back," was what he wished she could scream out now. But her throat was tangled with emotions, her voice reduced to whispers, barely a breath. It wasn't enough to reach him. He was far too gone away from her sight.
