Tharn pov:
a conversation between two people at a café, where one person is reading I Too Had a Love Story by Ravinder Singh, and the other has already read it:
type was reading and tharn has already read it.
(ᴀᴜᴛʜᴏʀ ɴᴏᴛᴇ : if you want you can skip the conversation about book and you can continue reading this chapter)
Tharn: Hey, I see you’re reading I Too Had a Love Story. How’s the book so far?
Type: I’m about halfway through. Ravin just met Khushi, and they’re getting to know each other. It’s such a simple, sweet story so far. But I’ve heard it’s a tear-jerker.
Tharn: Oh, it definitely is. The beginning feels light and warm, but trust me, the second half... let’s just say it hits hard emotionally.
Type: That’s what I’m worried about. Their love story feels so real, like two normal people falling for each other. It’s so pure. I’m scared to find out what happens next.
Tharn: I know exactly what you mean. Ravinder Singh has this way of making you feel like you’re part of their relationship, right? It’s such a heartfelt connection between Ravin and Khushi.
Type: Yeah, it doesn’t feel exaggerated or anything, just genuine. That’s why I think I’m going to take the ending even harder. I’ve heard something tragic happens.
Tharn: (pauses) I won’t spoil it for you, but... yeah, it’s tragic. And because it’s based on a true story, it makes it even more emotional. You’ll really feel Ravin’s pain by the end of it.
Type: I’m already getting so invested in them. It’s like you want them to have this happy ending, but I have this sinking feeling.
Tharn: That’s the beauty and heartbreak of the book. It’s not just about the love, but how life sometimes throws things at you that you can’t control. It’s really about love, loss, and moving forward, even when it seems impossible.
Type: I’ve never been this hooked on a romance novel before. Usually, they feel predictable, but this one feels different. More personal, I guess?
Tharn: Yeah, it’s very personal. That’s what makes it so powerful. Ravinder Singh really opened up about his own life. By the end, you’ll feel like you’ve been through that experience with him.
Type: I’m almost afraid to keep reading, but I also can’t stop. I have to know what happens, even if it’s going to break my heart.
Tharn:(smiling) That’s the mark of a great story. You’re in for an emotional ride, but it’s worth it. Keep some tissues handy, though!
Type: (laughs) I might need them. Thanks for the warnig!
Type sat together in the café, the conversation naturally flowing into their favorite books and characters. As they talked, they got so lost in the exchange that time seemed to slip away. Suddenly, Type's phone rang, interrupting the moment.
Type: "I'm sorry, Tharn, just a second," Type said, slightly distracted as he reached for the phone. Tharn, trying to be nonchalant, couldn’t help but glance at the screen. The caller ID read "Baby😘."
Tharn’s mood shifted instantly. His stomach knotted, a mix of jealousy and curiosity swirling inside him. The café was quiet, the soft hum of the air conditioning and the stillness of the evening allowing him to clearly overhear the conversation without much effort.
Conversation type and babyin call :
Type answered, "Hello, Brighty."
Baby: On the other end, Baby😘 spoke with rapid concern, "Baby, where are you? It’s almost dark. Can I come pick you up? Are you okay? Is something wrong?"
Type: chuckled softly. "Oh, I didn’t even notice the time! I got caught up in a conversation."
Baby: "Conversation? With who? Is everything alright? You don’t usually like talking to strangers. Should I come?"
Type: "Calm down, worrywart," Type reassured him with a fond tone. "I’m fine. I brought my car, so I’ll be heading home soon. No need to come."
Baby: "Okay sweetie ," Baby😘 said, still sounding a little worried. "But be safe. Go straight home, and don’t forget to call me. Dinner, okay? Love you. See you this weekend at our favorite spot. Love you."
Type: "Love you, too," Type responded, hanging up with a soft smile.
Call end...
Tharn : Tharn had been silently sipping his coffee, but his mind was racing with emotions. He couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy, though he tried to mask it. Once the call ended, he composed himself and asked casually, "Boyfriend?"
Type: "Huh?" Type responded, momentarily confused.
Tharn: "That was your boyfriend, right?" Tharn pressed, his voice carefully neutral, though the hint of jealousy lingered. "I overheard your interview before I came here. You said you didn’t have anyone."
Type: blinked, surprised. "Boyfriend?" He thought for a second, before quickly shaking his head. "No, no. He's my friend."
Tharn: felt a wave of relief wash over him, though he didn’t show it. "But... 'baby,' 'brighty,' 'sweetie,' 'love you'?"
Type: laughed, realizing how it might have sounded. "Oh, that’s just my childhood friend. He’s like a brother to me—overprotective, honestly. Plus, he has a boyfriend of his own."
Tharn: relaxed further, though he tried to maintain his cool. "I didn’t know who you were until today. I heard your interview on the car radio, thought you seemed interesting... So I looked you up."
Type: always dramatic, placed a hand over his heart in mock offense. "Oh no, I’m not that attractive! You looked me up? I’m flattered," he said, laughing.
Tharn: couldn’t help but smile. He found himself admiring Type’s playful energy, lost in the moment. Without thinking, he blurted out, "You’re beautiful."
Type: froze for a moment before pouting. "I’m a man. I’m not beautiful, I’m handsome," he said, puffing out his cheeks in a mock pout.
Tharn: chuckled softly. "I know you’re a man, but you’re still beautiful. And cute, especially with that pout." His words slipped out before he could stop himself, causing him to quickly change the subject. "I think you're more famous than you realize. But don’t worry, I’m busy so not too into media stuff."
Type pov:
Type’s eyes sparkled at the compliment, and before he could stop himself, he leaned in and asked, "You think I’m beautiful and attractive ?
Tharn nodType: Then... can I ask you out on a date?"
Tharn, caught completely off guard, sat frozen in shock, not knowing how to respond.
