(Sorry for the slow updates)

"Can you tell us what it's like to work so closely with All Might?"

"Are you one of All Might's students? Tell us, what's the Symbol of Peace like in person?"

"How is he fairing as a teacher, what are you learning?"

All us students and teachers were surrounded by reporters and civilians at the schools entrance, one news reporter in particular with her brown hair made up in a ponytail wouldn't leave us alone. She went through a majority of my classmates, and all her questions seemed to be revolved around one person... All Might.

"You, kid!"

I whip my head around to see said reporter lady sprinting in my direction, with her hands waving frantically to gain my attention. I sped up my walk and my gaze hit the ground as I tried to lose her in the crowd and get through the school doors.

Without time to get away fast enough, she had managed to appear right infront of me, blocking my path. I hadn't noticed it before, but she had a determined but twisted expression on her face, which didn't make her look that approachable.

"You have been spotted on multiple occasions with the Symbol of Peace. Now tell us, are you All Might's secret love child?"

My face contorted to a disgusted and appalled expression as I looked at the woman infront of me. She did not just say that.

"Get the hell out of my way. What kind of stupid question is that?" I slip past her, ignoring the microphone she tried so hard to shove in my face. "If you cared enough about your job and the people you present your news to, you would be better off reporting other impacting social  issues and not making this ball shit media everything hero or villain related."

I sigh out frustratedly and march into school, not giving the woman a second glance.

It was true. All the media consisted of was the growing popularity of heroes and the horrific crimes of villains. That was the equilibrium. There was no room for other worldly problems like climate change or animal abuse or anything that just wasn't hero related. The news became repetitive and boring in my eyes, however much the heroes inspire me, the fame isn't all what its made to be. And sometimes, I can't help but feel bad for the misunderstood villains.

I had reached my classroom and slumped into my chair. My classmates started to drag themselves into the classroom and sit in their designated seats, overwhelmed by the crowds outside. And not long after, Mr Aizawa made an appearance to the class with a pissed off look on his face, which wasn't unusual, but it looked more emphasized.

"It's time for your first task that will decide your futures... You all need to pick a class representative."

Suddenly, over half of my classmates raised from their seats and demanded others to pick them to be the class representative. Apparently, being a class representative at UA is far different than being one in any other 'normal' school. If you were lucky enough to be chosen, being the class representative would make you get noticed by agencies due to leadership skills. Which is not something for me, so I'll keep my head down for now.

"Silence, everyone, please!" Iida's voice boomed throughout the room, catching everyone's attention. "The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!"

Wow, so serious... It's obvious he wanted all of us to vote for him.

"Everyone will just vote for themselves" Kirishima pointed out, which was only half true as I most definitely will not be voting myself.

"Most people will. But that means whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be the most suitable person for the job."

"HOW DID I GET FOUR VOTES?!" Izuku screamed in terror.

"AND WHY THE HELL AM I UP THERE?!" I added onto his panic when I saw the board.

Izuku and I had gotten the most votes out of everyone in the class, making him class rep and me the deputy.

"ALRIGHT, WHO THE HELL VOTED FOR THOSE TWO IDIOTS?"

I had gotten three votes. THREE. And I voted for Izuku. So that must mean three people in the class must trust me, huh?

I scanned the class as I stood next to Izuku at the front, trying to figure out who in the hell voted for me, me out of all people. No one even voted for Iida, and he probably could do a way better job. I looked at everyone's faces, each mixed with either disappointment, acceptance or anger (Bakugo). My eyes wondered to the back of the classroom, meeting the turquoise and deep grey orbs that belonged to the Todoroki kid. I hadn't interacted with him before, but something about his demeanor suggested to me that he was part of the reason as to why I'm currently standing up here.

"This might not be so bad"

"Yeah, I can get behind Midoriya and Y/n being in charge."

Well I can't.

It was break time and the class had already started to move to the cafeteria for Lunch Rush's tasty foods. I walked through the hallways alone behind everyone else until a hand found its way onto my left shoulder.

I quickly grabbed their arm in panic and turned around to face them, meeting the same turquoise and deep grey eyes like before.

"Todoroki?" My fingers released his arm in an instant, however he didn't seem phased by my actions to begin with.

"L/n, do you mind if I speak to you for a second?" His slanted eyes matched his stoic mouth, he looked like a peaceful sketch.

"Yeah, ofcourse. What's wrong?"

"Well... I heard about what that reporter said to you this morning at the school gates, about you and All Might."

Oh shit.

"Y-yeah, well you know how these reporters are, they love making stuff up to gain more audiences-"

"I believe she was telling the truth." The half and half boy cut off my ranting and continued his harsh eye contact.

"W-what?"

"My father told me a while back that All Might had managed to save a child, a young girl to be exact. He said that he looked after this girl and cared for her like she was his own... Only a few pro heroes know about your relationship with All Might, and my father just so happens to be one of them."

I was stunned, shocked in place. How could I say anything to convince him that he was wrong now? My relationship with All Might had been kept a secret, hidden from the public in order to keep me safe, to keep my entire existence safe. If the press found out... If my class found out... That would be the end for me. The only people I was certain that knew were Gran Tornino, Recovery Girl, Nighteye and one of Toshi's old friends in America. So how in the hell did the number two hero know about it?

"I- erm... I'm not sure what to say." I managed to swallow the saliva that was building up in the back of my throat.

"You don't need to say anything, L/n. If what my father says is true, then you have something to hide... And I'm going to find out what."

And with that, he walked past me and left me standing alone in the middle of the hallway.
