new deputy

As I was in the baby room setting up for the day and marjorie came in 'char there is a new deputy manager that is coming in today around 11:00
'Ok thanks marjorie'

It was nearly 11:00 and this new deputy was here. I don't know anything about them. As I was helping a cece a woman came in the had long cherry red hair and I got up from were I was.'Hi, my name is Charlotte, but everyone calls me char.'
'Hello, char my name is amelia but I would rather go as mia'
'That is a really nice name,' Char said while looking at mia in the eyes
'Thank char'

As the day went by, mia was interacting with all the kids and was asking questions as she was helping me, and it was really nice to have a bond with a deputy on their first day which is weird as they normally don't do that and do what they want and do it all wrong but mia she was different to the other deputy that had come and work with me

Char and mias shift is nearly and only 1 child left, which was ocean her parents came late to pick her up
Finally, her mum came to get her now it was time to put away the toys ocean was playing with.

'Did u have a nice day on how to cover in the rooms when needed for when you cover' as Char said, putting away a toy.
'I had a really nice day thanks you it nice to cover in the room from time to time' Mia said smiling at char
Char had finished cleaning up the baby room, and Char and mia went up to the staff room as char needed to go to her locker, and mia needed to get a quick drink I got my stuff and we left the staff room and we left the building and I lock up. It was dark outside, and I couldn't see a thing as I needed to walk . My car was broken down, but it was getting fixed, and can get it tomorrow.

I was about to leave the car park and mia rolled down her window 'get in your going to get cold'as mia looked at me 'Mia it's fine I will walk' char said
'Char it dark and you're only wearing a little hoodie that is not going to keep you warm,' Mia said while looking at her with a little death stare'
'Ok I will get in. You got a point there'
I got in the car, and it felt weird as I didn't even know her as well, like all the other staff members at the nursery. I told her where I lived, and five minutes later, I was home, and I felt a little smile creeping up my face.
'Thanks for that' and I lest the car and got in my safe place home
