"Just the regular, toya?" Meiko asked, preparing the brewer because she already knew what Toya was going to order- The standard black coffee, just like his father.
"Hm, I think I'll try something else today. "
(Pause. What?)
Meiko quietly poured out the coffee she already made in the sink, hoping toya wouldn't notice.
the boy's too busy staring at pictures of akito anyways, she thought.
"So, what would you like?" The brown-haired girl asked.
"Hmm, I'll try pancakes for today."
"Alrighty, gimme a second and they'll be done!"
As toya sat down on the couch, Meiko hurriedly made the pancakes- shaped like a bear, with bananas and strawberries and all that good stuff. (ignore my writing idk what I'm doing)
When the pancakes were served, toya looked surprised, considering how he's usually so nonchalant.
"Hey, where did you learn how to make these? "
Meiko glanced at him: "Oh, Akito taught me how to make these. "
"Ohh, that's why they look so familiar. Akito makes those for me sometimes at his house."
As Meiko walked back to the coffee bar, she asked, "you and Akito hang out a lot. Ya can't find one without the other, ya know?"
"Stop acting like we're always with eachother."
"Well, You guys are literally inseparable. The only reason you're alone right now is because Akito has detention."
"It's so unfair! He literally did nothing!"
"An told me that he was trying to skateboard through the halls and he accidentally hit a teacher. You were with him too! As I said, inseperable."
Toya piped down a little after that.
"Still... " he said under his breath.
As the akito-less boy ate his pancakes, Meiko started to wash the dishes and put em up on the dish racks.
BOOM!
Len burst through the door, and Meiko almost dropped a dish!
"Len! You can't just burst through like that!" Meiko half-yelled.
"MEIKO! RIN IS CHASING ME HELP"
"What do you mean?!?"
Oh wow, Toya thought. That's a shame. (Bro does NOT care!) And continued eating his pancakes.
"WE'VE BEEN PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK FOR LIKE THE LAST 2 HOURS! I'VE BEEN HIDING FOR LIKE THIRTY MINUITES!, " the yellow haired boy exclaimed. "Can I hide here?"
"Sure, hide in that cabinet. " Meiko pointed to a cabinet behind her.
"THANKS!"
a few moments after Len slipped into his hiding spot, rin burst in- causing Meiko to almost drop a dish... Again.
"Meiko and toya, have you seen rin anywhere? "
"Uhh... No." Meiko and toya said in sync.
"HEY! ASKING FOR HELP IS AGAINST THE RULES!" Len exclaimed, muffled by the cabinet.
"Wait, Len is in here?" The banana- haired girl asked.
"Uhh no, it must have been the voices in your head or something," Toya replied. He was texting Akito a picture of his pancakes to try and make him jealous- the ginger ahh boy always used his phone during detention.
"Sure buddy sure, keep texting your boyfriend and I'll look for Len."
With those words, Toya's face flushed immediately. "Wait, what?" But Rin was too busy looking for Len to reply back to the confused mf.
After a few minutes of searching, Rin finally found Len in the cabinet and said, "HA! FOUND YOU!" As Len admitted defeat.
