Majeed paced nervously in front of the soccer field, adrenaline coursing through him. Today was the big match against Ridgeview High, and all he could think about was Lucas—their star player and Majeed's biggest rival.
"Hey, Majeed! Ready to get schooled?" Lucas called, his trademark smirk firmly in place.
"Not a chance! This is our field!" Majeed shot back, determination fueling him as the whistle blew.
The game was intense. Every time Majeed thought he had the upper hand, Lucas was right there, challenging him. With minutes left on the clock, Majeed saw his chance. He dodged defenders and shot the ball straight into the goal.
