Soft wind blew rustling the leaves in the trees, spots of colors forming in the trees from falls cold air. Two figures stood near the river, one sitting on a rock, the other in the grass beside it. It was quiet for a while before the shorter of the two, who sat on the rock stood up.

"Well, we had a good run." He said smiling looking from the river to the sky.  Slenderman sighed as he spoke.

"Yes, I suppose it has been."

"Haha! Why so gloomy, huh? scared you'd miss me?"

Slightly annoyed but otherwise unbothered by the comment slenderman stood up as well. "Simply that you have a 1% survival rate for this mission,"

"1.3%" M/n corrected turning to face Slenderman as he placed a hand on his chest over his Proxy mark. "I'm here to serve I will not disobey or lie to my master I will be with my partner whether I like it or not After I accept this life I cannot return to my old one I'll try to find happiness and love even if it's impossible I'm nor human nor demon I am a proxy And I am here to serve my master.

I took a vow to do your work and that's what I will do, is this artifact can kill the curse once and for all I'll get it, and I'll bring it back here."

"Or you'll die proving to be just a waste of a good soldier."

"hey i have 1.3%." M/n shrugged jumping off the rock as he crossed the river. "I'll be back one day boss, even if it takes a 1000 years. I don't fail missions" M/n said his final goodbye as he kept walking disapereaing from view into the forest line.

Slenderman made his way back to the place he called home, he hoped m/n would return but the odds were to far against him. Well at least he had other proxies, sadly even his second in line couldnt do things m/n could. No, he would need more proxies. He would need more children to become his soldiers.

He would simply have to get jeff and Jack to find more people he can bring to do his bidding. More creatures to die at the hands of Zalgo.
