what is a last resort?
well.
it's where you go when all the restaurants on your list are closed.
it's what you do when you have nothing left and nothing to lose.
it's who you talk to when you've talked to all you have.
am i .. your last resort?
do you see me as the person you'll go to only if you have to?
the person you'll love only if others have failed ?
room full of beautiful women and im not one.
in a room full of women and you left with all but me.
but it's okay!
if they don't work out you'll be right back to me.
and if they do you'll act as if we never met.
the early bird never gets the worm
or i'd be well fed.
first come doesn't get first serve
or i'd be seated.
to be early isn't to be on time
otherwise the sign would still say closed to them.
but it's open.
i stand outside.
closed.
i ask another to read.
open.
oh.
guess im on the waitlist again.
three walk in. four leave.
open.
