Mandy woke up that morning, in their crappy apartment in Romania. Bucky was asleep next to her. They were on a mattress on the floor. It was colder that morning. They were in hiding. She rolled over to look at him, his bare back was facing her. Kinda was crazy to think she didn't hate him for killing her parents, she knew he was under control of hydra and at the moment he is her only friend.

"Stop staring," he grumbled.

Her eyes went wide. "I'm not," she said sternly as she pulled the blanket off, getting off the mattress. She threw her hoodie over her tank top and slipped on a pair of jeans.

Bucky groaned, rolling out of bed. She looked out the window to avoid looking at his chest. He pulled on his pants and started to put his shirt on, throwing a sweater over that. He put a cap on his head. He walked up to her, another baseball cap in his hand.

"Wear this," he told her as she turned to look at him, she shut the blinds and tossed the hat on. Leaving her hair down to cover her face more.

"Are we going out?" Mandy asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah I'm starving," he said leading her out of the apartment and out to the market.

He picks out some plums. He picks up six and pays the man.

They walk casually through the market, they spot a news-stand guy watching him. Bucky glances away, then looks back at the vender who's still watching him. The vender runs from his kiosk. Bucky goes over and picks up a paper. On the front page there are surveillance-photos of a man and woman and the head line: 'Winter Soldier and woman cautat pentru Bombardmentul din Viena'.

"Fuck," Mandy swore under her breath. Bucky grabbed her by the arm and they rushed back to the apartment.

They walk up the stairs and stop as they see the door wide open, Bucky puts Mandy behind him as they slowly walk in. Standing in the room reading a book was captain America.

Steve turns to look at them. "Do you know me?" he asked.

"You're Steve. I read about you in a museum."

"I know you're nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying."

"We werent in Vienna. We don't do that anymore."

"We swear," Mandy said glancing over his shoulder.

"Well, the people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive."

"That's smart. Good strategy."

"Awesome," Mandy said shaking her head.

"This doesn't have end in a fight, Buck."

They can hear them trying to take the door down from the other side.

"It always ends in a fight," Bucky said.

"You pulled me from the river. Why?"

"I don't know."

"Yes, you do."

A grenade crashes through the window. Bucky kicks it to Steve, and he smothers it with his shield.

The cop slams the battering ram against the door. Bucky shields him and Mandy with the mattress against an attack from the window. He blocks the door with a table as cops swing in on cables. Steve pulls the rug from under a policeman, sending him flying. Bucky slams another policeman into the wall.

"Buck, stop! You're gonna kill someone."

Bucky slams Steve down and punches a hole in the floor. "I'm not gonna kill anyone."
