Hey everyone! Sorry in advance for the long A/N, but if you feel strongly about this book, please speak up now or forever hold your peace because I am the queen of hasty decision-making lol.
The reason I am writing this note is because I'm thinking about doing a complete rewrite of this story. I wrote this whole thing on a whim and honestly didn't put much foresight into the tragectory of the plot or development of the characters (and as many of you have pointed out, I kind of disregarded the source material in many places because I got bored of researching). I have tried on multiple occasions to edit this story, but have not been able to finish it because (and forgive me for this cliché—I know all Wattpad authors say this about their old work) I just honestly don't like it very much. I see so many opportunities for improvement, and I think that I would feel better about having this story on my profile if I could rework it a bit. Like honestly, part of why I haven't been uploading anything on this profile is because I don't want people reading my old stuff and associating it with my new stuff, so this is a change that I need to mak. I just need your guys' help with the how of it all.
Here is my dilemma: I am trying to decide if I should unpublish this version and completely replace it, or if I should publish an updated/rewritten version as a separate book. If there is a more preferable solution that someone else wants to suggest, please let me know. But if anyone feels strongly one way or another, please leave me a comment. I seriously value your guys' opinions.
This is something I've been on the fence about for some time now, and I would really appreciate it if anyone is willing to share their opinion with me!
Now it's time for the kind of uncomfy conversation that needs to be had.
I have noticed an influx of anti-choice rhetoric in the comments on this story recently. Please know that I do and will continue to delete all of those comments. While I understand that abortion is a polarizing and complex topic, my mediocre Twilight fanfiction's comments section is not the time nor the place for those opinions to be shared. Also, I want to make it clear that I am steadfastly pro-choice, so I just generally dislike that kind of thing on my page and I refuse to entertain it.
Thanks for your kindness and support! 💕
