It had been a while since Gon Freecs had last stepped foot on his home island. He walked excitedly beside his girlfriend- Killua Zoldyck.
After Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio rescued Killua from her family, Kurapika and Leorio parted ways from the youths. They had decided to make money and get stronger at the Heaven's Arena and then to leave for Whale Island after Gon fought Hisoka.
Gon walked happily with Killua to his house, where Mito-san, his aunt, and his grandmother would be waiting for him.
"How much more do we have to go get there?" Killua asked him, breaking the silence.
Gon thought for a moment. "Not much. We're almost there."
"Ah." Killua put her hands into her skirt pockets. "I seriously can't believe there's no buses on this island."
"Aha, sorry about that Killu-chan..." Gon said rubbing the back of his neck, embarrassed. "Well, it'll all be worth it when I introduce the prettiest girl I've ever met to my aunt and grandmother." He said with a shy grin.
"G-Gon! Don't you feel embarrassed saying that?!" Killua cried out, looking fifty shades of Erza Scarlet.
"Why should I? I only speak the truth!" Gon said, confused by Killua's sudden outburst.
"W-Whatever! Keep walking!" Killua said blushing.
Gon smirked. Such a tsundere. He thought. How cute.
Fifteen minutes later...
"Arghhh finally!" Killua said,
panting. They were now in front of Gon's house."Yupp. We're here!" Gon said with a gleam. "Remember to make yourself at home, Killu-chan!"
Killua took one look at her surroundings. Woah... The air was fresh and cool. The scenery was beautiful. Gon watched with amusement as his girlfriend made faces of awe. It made him giggle.
"W-What?" Killua asked, flustered at Gon's sudden laugh.
"You're so cute, Killu-chan." Gon replied, making Killua red again. Before she could tell him to shut up he said, "I really do hope you like it here."
"I know I will." Killua said smiling.
In Gon's house...
"Wow Gon. I expected you to bring a friend home, but not a girlfriend! She's so cute!" Mito said.
Killua blushed at the comment. She had just met Mito and Gon's grandmother and already liked them a lot. If only they'd chill with the embarrassing compliments!
"Yeah. She is. I keep telling her that but she's too shy." Gon said smiling and Killua pouted.
"Pft, I'm not shy! It's just...embarrassing to be called cute all the time! That's all!" Killua said still wearing her pout.
Gon smirked. "Whatever you say, Killua."
After lunch...
Gon had decided to give Killua a tour around his place. He showed her everything. He even taught the young silver-haired female how to fish properly.
"Ugh, fishing takes so much patience. Gon, how do you do it?" Killua complained.
"It's just waiting for the fish to take your bait. Nothing special."
"Hm...have you ever caught anything really big?"
Gon smiled. "Oh yes! The 'Master of the Swamp' they call him. I had to catch it and show it to Mito-san so would let me take the Hunter exam. He was sort of difficult to catch but I managed!" Gon beamed.
"Oh? How big is that thing?"
"It's huge! It takes five men to carry that thing." Gon said.
"Really?" Killua smirked. "I wanna try to catch it.
"Ah..do you need help, Killu-chan?"
"Nah! I can do it all by myself!" she said with confidence.
"Aha." Gon mused. "Well then, goodluck! And don't fall into the water and drown."
"Baka! I can swim! And stop worrying! I can do this!" Killua shouted at him.
"Aye ma'am. Just say so when you need help."
Baka! Of course I won't need your help!
An hour later...
They had gotten out of the water and proceed to walk back to Gon's house so they could show Mito the fish they caught.
In the end, the 'Master of the Swamp' never appeared, which disappointed Killua. She had really wanted to catch it an see the surprised look on Gon's face when she did.
"It's okay Killua, it doesn't show itself too often." Gon tried cheering up his girlfriend.
"Stupid fish! What should I do to get that thing to come to me?! Maybe we had the wrong bait or something, Gon."
"I don't know, but the Master did take my worm bait last time." Gon said.
Killua pouted. "Well now I really want to catch that thing and I'll do whatever to catch it! Just you watch!"
"I know will, Killu-chan!" Gon said with a smile and wink. Killua blushed like mad.

The next few days Killua and Gon had been going down to the swamp so Killua could continue trying to catch the master of the swamp. In the end, she was able to catch it.
"Wow! There you go, Killua." Gon said with awe. "You're the first girl to ever catch it, too!"
"I-I am?" Killua asked while blushing.
"Yupp! Congrats!" Gon said happily, then gave Killua a peck on the cheek.
"G-Gon!" Killua was embarrassed again, thanks to Gon's quick peck.
"Oh, no. With kisses I will not hold back, Killu-chan." Gon smirked.
"B-Baka! Don't just-"
Gon cut off Killua with a kiss to the lips. At first, Killua was going to hit Gon but instead she kissed back. After a minute or two, they broke the kiss.
Killua blushed madly but Gon gave a smirk.
"You know, you are the cutest tsundere girl I know."
"S-Shut up!" Killua said with an even bigger blush. She gave a sigh. "A-Am I really that c-cute?"
Gon smirked again. "Heck yeah you are!"
At this point, Killua was beet red and too embarrassed to speak.
