Today was Meher's Mehendi so I quickly woke up and wore a green kurti
pairing it with a pair of jhumke gifted by my mother.

I never really got time to dress up so why won't I do it whenever I get a  chance?

I was so embarrassed by yesterday's accident or whatever it was, I am embarrassed by the thought of what they would think about me, plus I needed to tell that to my friends.

A while later, I went towards the cafeteria and saw the three if them at a table waiting to order something.

As I reached them, i noticed their faces, everyone's in the bad mood except Palak, she was always the friend who never took anything to heart and was unflappable.

Somethings never really change.

I took a seat beside Veda "What happened? Why everyone's in a bad mood?"

Swastika huffed eyeing Palak "Khud sabka mood kharab karke khana thoosna hai isko"
(After ruining everyone's mood she wants to eat food)

"Yall are mad isme mera kya fault hai bhai?" Palak said and signaled a waiter to come here.

"Literally Sameer Shrivastava is the same Sameer" Veda said.

"Oh-oh-What??!" I could not believe it, Sameer was our classmate back then from kindergarten to junior high school.

Now in the hell we were gonna be his saalis-wait-

"Guys" I said wavering my hand in the air.

"If Sameer is the same Sameer then he'd invite his friends and-" I glanced at Veda, her face paled extra when she realized the part what I wanted to say.
"-and he would invite him too"

I bet Veda really wanted to ran away from here, but she can't because, the wedding is in two days and there are almost no flights to the States apparently in a week.

He's here.

He was here.

I didn't saw him but I could feel his presence.
