Sky was getting ready calmly while her dad was running everywhere like they were in a big hurry. After 20 minutes they heard the chauffer honk. They both closed the door and got in the car on their way to the palace.
The maids helped them to join the king and his son in the dining room. When they entered, the room was silent then the king invited them to sit and told sky to sit next to Xiao( the prince).
When Sky looked at the prince she thought that he was familiar then she remembered that he was the guy that she bumped into few days ago but she stays quiet.
Xiao's eyes widened as he didn't liked the idea of Sky sitting next to him but he stayed with hies cold attitude as Sky sat next to him nervously.
The king told Xiao to give her a tour of the palace while him and sky's father will be discussing about the arranged wedding.
Xiao was not thrilled about the idea of touring Sky because he hates conversation and peoples but he nodded instead of making a drama about it.
He then started to walk while Sky was following him quietly behind. After 5 minutes of walking as the palace is huge,Xiao stopped walking then he looked at Sky then he lower his face to her face level as she was shorter than him and he talked looking directly into her eyes," I dont want you to talk to me or anything else becauss i hate that understood!?" He said in a cold tone and a stoic expression.
Sky was surprised at his sudden action but she was also scared as she nodded. "Great" said Xiao. They both returned back to the dining room and sat quietly next to each other as their fathers were still talking.
Some minutes later a girl and a woman entered the dining room looking all luxious and they walked towards the king.
The king was not so happy to see them...the woman talked to the king.."Dear John(king, I see you have some guest but I have a quick question ....why wont you make your son marry my daughter?!" She then turn her gaze to Sky and looked at her up and down and looked at the girl who came with her and she said "is your son marrying her?" The king nodded as she said "my daughter is 100 times better than her" its at that moment that sky realised that they were mother and daughter. The king answered with an annoyed tone: "how dare you come in here and insult that young lady? You and your daughter may leave now".
"... The woman: let your son
choose and he will certainly choose my daughter. She then turned to Xiao and said "who do choose? My daughter or that stupid girl?"
