I know its been a while but i guess im just gonna have an irregular posting schedule from now on. btw enjoy :)

A lock snaps open as the front door creaks ajar, she slowly inches, basically writhing down the front hall, barely mobile physically and mentally. Her eyes dart in hysteria as she cautiously walks to a bathroom. She grips the remnants of her sanity, as she looks for an indication of her former self in the cracked mirror ,but all that looks back is the image of a fragmented girl in a broken world. She removes the tattered and muddy clothes that have endured immeasurably horrific things and enters the shower. As she observes the grime and dried blood trickle down the drain, she contemplates that this is a step towards moving past this traumatic event.

She walks back to her bedroom, untouched last since a mortal presence entered. Sitting down on her unkempt bed, she starts to decompress, finally the sense of dread leaving her body, the only remnants of the torture she previously suffered in her mind. But, if this horror is behind her then why is she still restless? Why is she still feeling trepidation around her, it's seeping through the walls, it's practically suffocating her. The inkling feeling of someone watching, approaching ever so quietly. Irritated further by her exhaustion more than her quivering heart, she walks to the hallway of her small, strangulating apartment.

Then, to her dreaded prophecy, he was standing there stagnant, unmoving, he was in anticipation for her to make the first move. As if she knew what was in his inhumane, sadistic mind, she turned swiftly to sprint back to her room but she wasn't quick enough. He grabbed her by her messily chopped hair and launched her across the room against the tabletop. As she was recoiling and grasping her senses. He creeped up ever so quickly and wound his hands firmly around her throat, constricting her tighter, and tighter, until she lost consciousness. She somehow was awake enough to talk to herself. She replayed the events that lead her to this moment. Did she really escape this twisted creature to endure the same inevitable fate? The last sound he ever heard was the thump of his baseball bat against her skull, shattering it into thousands of pieces.
