Ember and Five teleported back inside Elliott's apartment. Ember sighed deeply, not noticing the invitation on the coffee table that Elliot might have left for her.

"Ember?" Five asked, not knowing how to respond to the threat she made against The Handler earlier. "Bonnie?" Five repeated as Ember took a shaky breath before she sat on the couch, trying to regulate her breathing.

Five glanced around the room, noticing everyone else had dispersed, even Elliot was nowhere to be seen. "Talk to me," Five sighed, recalling the last time he saw Ember impose a threat on anyone else, it was hot (to say the least) but it wasn't pretty at all.

Ember didn't respond, her negative thoughts were engulfing her whole. Five's voice was barely registering in her head, his concerned voice passing through her head like a bullet that had bounced off the wall.

Five sat beside her, noticing his lover staring at her hands. "Don't," Five said, interlocking his hand with hers, trying to focus her attention on him. Five rarely witnessed Ember's shutdowns but they were bad, they could last hours or days on end.

Ember sighed shakily as a tear streamed down her cheek. "Oh... Bonnie," Five sighed, pulling Ember into a hug. "I don't like that gun," Ember muttered as she tried pulling the weapon out of her pocket.
