Child neglected

All alone walking around the house,
The only thing that you could have
heard was that one lonely mouse.
It's squeaks and voices as if trying to scream,
Or alert someone,
yet who was the mouse trying to call?
Anyone it would seem.
The entire house was empty and alone,
The house looked as if it had been belonged to an unknown,
The child ignored and thought their parents were arriving,
What a lie, it felt like the child was dying.
All alone walking and calling "mama, mama" until it felt boring,
The Sun ended up falling
and the stars soon started appearing,
Yet the ignored child's cute smile had now disappeared
A pale face, no food or energy,
the only thing left were the
sweet child's memories endeared.
