chapter 2: enterprise

After Vestal finishes the checks on robert and filed the form for him to become a eu citizen, she noticed it was time for the  taskforces to return, "I guess it's time for them to be back, I wonder what damage they have this time" Vestal then walked out to the port where the first ships were retuning she then greated a tall white haird woman whareing a stylised admirals uniforn, "welcome back enterprise"

Enterprise "Thanks, Vestal, my rigging broke again."

Vestal "You've really got to look after yourself. You'll collapse if you go too far."

Enterprise "I'm fine, I just need repairs, but the sirens could have more hostages like the one we rescued, that should be our top priority. How is he, by the way?"

Vestal: "He woke up earlier and has memory loss other than that he's ok, and even if there are more, you won't be able to do anything on the brink of collapse."

Enterprise "You keep telling me, but I don't need rest. I need more power, I, i, need to be stronger. Please, do you have anything?" Enterprise then grabbed Vestals shoulders "please"

Vestal then thought to the parasite that was in her pocket, seeing the opportunity to take her over, "I might have one way, but it's never been tried before."

Enterprise nodded rapidly. "I'll do it,"

Vestal sighed, "Then come to the infirmary so I can keep an eye on you throughout."

Enterprise "lead the way"

Back at the infirmary:

Vestal "sit there"

Enterprise complied eagerly, awaiting Vestals method but getting nervous when she pulled out a vial with a slug looking substance.

Vestal "this is it"

Enterprise: "Are you sure? It looks like a slug."

Vestal "it's supposed to look like that, now you need to swallow it whole or it won't work"

Enterprise looked visibly worried looking at it but ultimately decided to trust Vestal, who had helped her more times than she could count. She may have chosen differently if she saw the look on Vestals face as she swallowed it whole. Feeling the warmth of her throat, the parasite sprang to life and took over her brain before she could react or know what was happening.

Enterprise "Vestal, I'm surprised I wasn't expecting you to get me this early"

Vestal "I aim to please"

Both of them then laughed to themselves  and grew a smirk both uncharacteristically to both of them.

Enterprise "I suppose now we have to pay a visit to our new owner"

Vestal "I didn't know you were into that, enterprise"

Enterprise then blushed profusely. "I'm not, I just mean he can control everything about us." She then walked over to Roberts bed and stripped to get into bed with him

Vestal "No, you don't, you're not one eightieing just because you're one of us now."

Enterprise "Aw, that's disappointing, well I'm hungry I'm going to the cafeteria, coming?" At this point, she was halfway putting her clothes on

Vestal "Why the cafeteria?, you only eat ration bars"

Enterprise "One, thanks to you. I'm a reborn woman and therefore have different priorities. Two, yorktown had mine all hidden, and no one will let me have anymore, so I don't have a choice. "

Vestal "ok then,... hold up, Yorktowns here and awake. I'll ask her to keep an eye on him while we eat"

Enterprise: "He'll be fine as long as we don't take too long. If you have to, I'll save you a spot in the queue for when you're done"
