"Here's your mic, Ahrin," Chan said, handing her a microphone. She clipped it to her collar and began helping the others secure theirs.
In the four months since she joined, not much had changed; they were still distant and cold. The main difference now was that they could no longer ignore her. She had garnered a strong fan following, which forced them to acknowledge her presence, even if they still hadn't warmed up to her.
Ahrin had accepted her reality. Deep down, she understood that none of them would ever truly like her; she would always be seen as a substitute.
As the cars began to pull out of the parking lot, Ahrin took a deep breath, glancing out the window at the familiar sights of the dorm slowly fading behind them. She fidgeted with the microphone, trying to ignore the gnawing feeling of isolation that often accompanied her moments with the group.
"Did you see the post about the villa?" Jisung asked the others in the car.
"Ah yeah- they said it has a huge beautiful view-" Ahrin started but it seemed as if she was inaudible to all the others because Felix talked overlapping her - "Yes Chan hyung the scenic beauty is said to be great. I am excited to go there honestly"
Ahrin's mood dimmed and she focused on looking out of the window. Then she took out her phone and noticed she had several new messages on instagram - one was from Seunghan and the others were from Day6.
Seunghan:Sorry to interrupt but i think you will have a photoshoot in Milan too
Me:Its okay Seunghan i will do it
Seunghan: Are you sure?
Me: Yes i am. I don't think i will have fun this vacation, so its fine
