Saul put his hands behind his head, breathing in and out in happiness. The scent of the nearby sea filled his senses, and with a wide smile, he turned around to look me in the eyes. With his arms outstretched, as if introducing me to an old friend, he exclaimed:
Saul: "Welcome, Ang, to Tidil Town!"
I looked around, smiling shyly, as excitement bubbled within me. I longed to explore every corner of this place, but first I had to face the gym leader. So, like good trainers, Saul and I headed to an area where several trainers rested before battles, an ideal place also to catch Pokémon, especially Water-types. Interestingly, the local gym specialized in this type.
However, I decided that a little rest was necessary after everything we had been through. We headed towards Azure Coastal, a beautiful site next to a long beach of white sand and crystal-clear waters. There, many Water-type Pokémon, such as Magikarp, Wingull, Krabby, and Tentacool, were swimming near the shore, adding a vibrant touch to the scenery. In addition, it was a place where various aquatic Pokémon were on display, a true paradise for fishermen. This would be an excellent starting point for our adventure.
Finally, we found a bench where we could rest for a moment. I took my Starly and Wooper out of their Poké Balls, while my Eevee hopped onto the ground, excited to play with its new friends. I watched the scene with joy, feeling a warmth in my heart. Saul, smiling, turned his gaze towards the pier, which seemed to be the scene of a Water Pokémon contest that day. He then turned to me.
Saul: "Hey, Ang, do you want me to go get some food for us and our Pokémon?"Angel: "Yes, please, I'm already hungry."
I laughed nervously as Saul tenderly stroked my hair before walking away.
Saul: "Sure, I'll be right back!"
Angel: "Hehe, yeah."
As Saul walked away, I looked fondly at my Pokémon. I loved them all, even though I hadn't spent much time with them except for Ivy. I knew it was time to get closer to my other little ones.I pulled my N.T.T. out of my pocket as I watched my Pokémon play. I activated the device and watched as the screen lit up.
N.T.T.: "What do you need, Miss Angel?"
Angel: "Can you give me some information about Wooper, please?"
N.T.T.: "Of course, in a moment."
The N.T.T. beeped, causing my Pokémon to turn to look at me curiously.
N.T.T.: "Name: Wooper. Type: Water/Ground. Height: 0.4 meters. Weight: 8.5 kg. Wooper usually lives in muddy areas near water. It covers itself in a slimy, toxic film to prevent dehydration when on land. Despite its small size, Wooper can unleash powerful Water- and Ground-type moves, becoming a surprising threat. Abilities: Damp and Water Absorb."
Wooper jumped in front of me happily, causing me to smile as I gently petted it. It leaned into my touch, and Starly and Eevee came closer with the same happiness. It seemed like there was something about me that they liked... Hehe!
Shortly after, Saul returned with several bags. He smiled at the sight of my Pokémon gathered around me. He placed the bags on the table with a wide smile.
Saul: "Looks like someone's happy, huh?"
Angel: "Well... I really like this trip..."
Saul: "It shows, especially since I know how much you wanted to come. So I'm glad you're here, Ang."
I nodded with a smile as Saul brought out the food, both for us and our Pokémon. His Pokémon—Serperior, Braviary, Gyarados, Duraludon, Nidoking, and Ampharos—quickly came over, hugging him excitedly and squealing in happiness. My Pokémon looked at him curiously, approaching the larger ones in wonder and joy.
I had only seen Snivy before, but now that he was a Serperior, I wondered how long it had been since I last saw Snivy. Surely he didn't remember enough to say hello to me.
Angel: "Wow... You have an impressive team."
Serperior looked at me, and Saul laughed softly before answering:
Saul: "They've helped me get this far. I hope you'll manage to reach my level soon too. I'm sure of it."
He stroked my hair again as his team looked at me curiously. I nodded, feeling calmer. I now knew a little more about the team that could take me to the final step towards becoming a champion.
After the meal, Saul returned to his Pokémon, except for Serperior, who continued to play with Starly and Ivy. Saul looked to the side and smiled.
Saul: "Hey, Ang."
Angel: "Hm?"
Saul: "Interested in seeing more Pokémon?"
I had a feeling this could get pretty chaotic.
