After spending the whole day at the smosh studio, I finally got to go home and see my cat. Although I was very happy to see my sister and meet her coworkers and friends, I was happy to be home.
I didn't want to admit it, but I wanted to watch more smosh videos to see what Spencer was like. Sadly, I did not see him the rest of the day after they filmed the reddit video. I decided to watch some videos of theirs that included Spencer.
The first video I saw was a challenge game. The video also had Courtney and Shayne, so it made me more excited to watch. After that, I went down a whole tunnel of videos from smosh, finding their Next Top Simp video the funniest.
I didn't want to admit it to even myself, but Spencer playing that character made him more attractive in my mind. The more videos I watched, the more funny and attractive I found him. I knew it wasn't going to go anywhere, but I couldn't help but fall for his personality.

As the days go on, the more I start to hang around the smosh building. I don't see Spencer often, but when I do I always freak out. Courtney said I should just ask him out and see how it goes, but I'm scared that he would reject me. I'm not even sure if he's into men.
I didn't have anything to do today, so Courtney let me just sit around while she worked. I had a headache, but I didn't want to just lay at home since Courtney promised she would make me some food tonight.
"Hey Ed." Someone says, startling me. I look up to find Spencer looking down at me. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Courtney sent me over to make sure you're okay." He says, giving me a reassuring smile.
"I'm okay, just have a headache." I tell him. "You know," I start, looking over at Spencer, him giving me a confused look in return, "You're the only one who doesn't call me Eddie. You can call me Eddie like everyone else. I'd like to think we're close enough."
"But like, I'm different." Spencer says seriously, then proceeds to laugh, causing me to laugh as well. "But seriously, I feel like I should call you something different."
"Well, you can figure it out then." I say, giving him a sweet smile. "Is Court almost done? Her and Shayne were gonna make me some food tonight."
Spencer then looks over in the direction of the games room and then looks back at me. "Yeah, their video is almost done. I need to head back there, but hope you feel better."
"Eddie, we're done." Courtney says, running over to me.
"Or not." Spencer says while huffing a laugh. "Well I should head back to my spot to continue my script for later this week. See you Shayne and Courtney." Spencer says while backing up. He then looks at me again, "Bye Winnie." He then quickly walk out of the room we were in.
"Eddie, what the fuck?" Courtney says surprised.
Shayne then lets out a laugh, "Damn, didn't think he had it in him. Respect Spencer, respect."
After that, I knew my crush on Spencer was not going to go away any time soon. He had taken up my thoughts these past few days, but I knew it would only get worse from here.
At Courtney and Shayne's house, we all sat at their dining table to eat our spaghetti that Courtney made. "So Eddie, what's up with you and Spencer?" Courtney asks me once we're done eating. "You two seem closer than before."
"I don't know, he just talked to me to see how I was." I say, pushing my bowl away.
"No, like, why did he call you Winnie?" Courtney asks.
"He said he wanted to be different than everyone since you all call me Eddie. I think it's cute, I've never had anyone call me Winnie." I say, getting up to clean my bowl, grabbing Courtney and Shayne's as well.
"Yea, but this is Spencer we are talking about." Shayne says, also getting up and following me into the kitchen. "He is pretty shy around newer people." Courtney then leans onto the counter and nodding in agreement.
"Well that's good, maybe he's getting out of his shell." I say, happy that Spencer is being more outgoing with you.
"Or he likes you." Courtney says while 'coughing'. I just give her a look that says 'really?' "What? Spencer would have no reason not to fall for you. You're good looking, he'd be dumb not to like you."
I just shake my head and sit back down at the table. "No, that makes no sense. He doesn't even know me. This would never go anywhere even if I said anything to him."
"So you do like him?" Shayne asks me while also siting down. I just blush and turn away. "It's okay Eddie. Like Court said, he would be dumb not to fall for you. He's a nerd anyways, you could say you like a game and he would fall for you." Thanks to Shayne, the mood lightens up as we all laugh at what he says.
"I don't even know if he likes men. Whatever, can we just talk about something else."
After a while, Courtney drives me to my apartment. The conversation with her and Shayne helped me a little bit. I would love to be ask Spencer, but I'm still scared of him rejecting me. I think it would be easier if I just wait and try to become close friends with him first.
