"Hi baby." I say, walking into my room and seeing my cat, Yoshi. He likes to sleep in my room while I am out. "Dad met a nice guy this week baby. Are you happy for me?" Yoshi just gives me a blank look and meows softly.
As I walk into the kitchen to get Yoshi some food, I turn on the TV in my living room. I scroll through YouTube to see a new smosh video, turning it on. I set out Yoshi's food and sit down on my couch, reaching for my computer to finish my work for my album.
Over the last few nights, I had written three songs and I thought the vibe of them went well with this album, so I have to quickly get them ready for tomorrow. I had done the vocals on them last night, since I already had preplanned beats, so now I just need to do the final edits. Songs usually take me a while, but I was feeling unusually inspired by a certain someone.
This is my first time writing about someone that I like. Spencer has given me lots of inspiration, even though I have not known him for long.
What I like about my music is that even though I am gay, people don't make that my entire personality. I still write songs about women and straight relationships, but I tend to take a lot of inspiration from shows and movies.
This is going to be my first album, so I am excited for people to see my potential. I am adding a few songs that I put out previously that got be popular because I believe they fit the album very well.
Courtney said she wanted to throw a party for my album release, so I agreed. I said she had full range to invite whoever. I'm sure she will invite many smosh members, which excites me because I would like to become close to many of them. My best friend, Sam, promised to call me before since she lives in Washington.

The next day, everyone is in Courtney and Shayne's house. I was surprised with how small Courtney made the party, but I do notice that she invited mostly cast members who I knew. I see Arasha, Chanse, Angela, Amanda, Tommy, Courtney, Shayne, and Spencer. Courtney promised that we would just be playing games until I posted my music.
"Okay everyone, I have gathered everyone here to celebrate my brother. His music is coming out tonight and I wanted to give him a fun night of games to celebrate." Courtney says, pulling me up to stand next to them.
First, we play Mario Kart since it's my favorite game. "You play Yoshi, Winnie?" Spencer asks confused.
"Yea, it's literally the best character. I named my cat after it as well." I say as we continue putting together our players.
"Wait that's so cute. You should let me meet your cat sometime." Spencer says right before the round starts. I just nod and smile while turning to the tv, slightly blushing.
After a while of playing Mario Kart, I get up to leave so I can make sure my music comes out on time. I also get Courtney's speaker connected to my phone so we can listen once it comes out.
Everyone was excited once we got the music up and going. We decided to play some rounds of Hues and Cues while the music played. I was very excited for Courtney to listen to my new songs that she had not heard before.
Once my song 'Swim' started playing, Courtney looked at me in shock, forgetting I had added new songs. Once she heard the lyrics, she nudged Shayne and whispered something to him. I knew what they were talking about so I just looked away.
"Eddie, this album is so fucking good. I'm so proud of you king." Angela says, giving me a fist bump.
"Thanks, Ang. That means a lot coming from you." I say smiling. "Thank you all for coming to listen. I was nervous since I had just added new songs this week, swim being one of them. It means so much to me that you are all here."
"No Winnie, this album is seriously so good." Spencer says, grabbing my shoulder excitedly. "I I really liked swim as well, even though it was added last minute. I think we can all say that we are proud of you." Spencer then leans over and gives me a hug, everyone else coming in and joining.
"Thanks everyone. I'm happy you all like the album." I say, almost crying. It felt so great to have so many people there for me for one of the biggest accomplishments in my life.
