The crowd cheered and clapped as the curtains shut closed. The actors and actresses were putting the set props away, a gremlin and mogwai went to congratulate them. Gizmo and Stripe.
"Great work everyone! You did amazing!" Gizmo smiled.
"Yeah, your checks are looking good at the end of today, keep up the awesome work." Stripe added. They walked off. They have been dating ever since the end of gremlins 2. But they must keep it a secret, since Mickey Mouse hates different species couples. After the Gremlins movies, they started working in the theatre. Stripe was thinking this was a perfect time to propose to Gizmo. He waited until they went out to dinner.
"So, I was thinking the next play should be about..." Gizmo went on ranting about new play ideas. Stripe couldn't help but smile at him as he listened to him talk for hours. "Stripe? Are you daydreaming again?" Gizmo asked. Stripe snapped back to reality.
"Nope! I'm listening!" Stripe muttered out. Gizmo rolled his eyes in a nice way.
"Hehehe, you're so silly." Gizmo giggled.
"And you're so cute~" Stripe chuckled. Gizmo couldn't help but blush. Later, they went for a walk, they spotted the giant Warner Bros logo. Stripe fidgeting with something in his pocket. Gizmo saw this and was confused.
"What are you hiding?" Gizmo asked, pointing at his hidden hand. Stripe took a deep breath and pulled out a tiny box.
"Giz, I've loved you ever since I laid my eyes on you. I want to be with you forever... So Giz..." Stripe got down on one knee, Gizmo's eye widened. "Will you marry me?" Stripe asked. Gizmo felt tears run down his face. He smiled.
"Yes! Of course!" Gizmo hugged Stripe, and the gremlin hugged the mogwai back. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy saw the whole thing unravel.
"Omg! He finally did it! We must tell the others!" Harley cheered.
"Calm down, there, Harl." Ivy added. Harley sighed at her girlfriend.
"Sorry, that's just how I am." Harley shrugged. Ivey grabbed her by the hand.
"Let's give them some privacy." Ivey suggested, they went off. Later Stripe was at a party with the villains while Gizmo was at a party with the heroes.
"So, Stripe, I heard you and Gizmo are getting married..." The Joker began, Stripe nearly spit his drink out of his mouth.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT!?" Stripe cried.
"Harley and Ivy told us." Agent Smith piped in. Stripe scoffed.
"Of course she did..." Stripe groaned. Gizmo was getting the same news that the heroes knew about the proposal.
"Listen, doc. It's great that you and Stripe are getting married. But we're worried that Mickey might find out and you know..." Bugs Bunny explained. Gizmo heard what Mickey Mouse does to different species couples, he erases them from existence. It scared him, but he and Stripe won't say a word to the mouse. The next day, all the Warner Bros characters were standing outside for an inspection from Mickey Mouse. Bugs Bunny ordered them all the stand straight and in their respected franchises. They then saw the mouse himself. Some were scared and some were confident. Mickey looked at all of them. He was there for a few minutes. "Well?" Bugs asked.
"Everything looks good here, continue your day..." Mickey answered, he turned to leave. Stripe sighed with relief.
"That was close, honey." Stripe whispered. Mickey's ears perked up.
"Who said that!?" Mickey demanded. They all froze in fear, Taz pointed at the newlyweds. Mickey stomped over to them. "Did you call him honey!?" Mickey yelled. Stripe started sweating, Mickey saw the engagement rings. He backed away in disgust. "Oh my god! Disgusting! You two are coming with me!" Mickey grabbed Gizmo by the arm. Stripe got territorial and started growling. He clawed Mickey's face.
"Don't touch him! You dirty rodent!" Stripe protected his Gizmo. He heard gasps and whispers.
"Oh my god! He just attacked Mickey!" Rick started.
"He's going to get himself killed!" Shaggy added. Mickey got up, holding his cut.
"You're DEAD!" Mickey shouted. Bugs stepped in before more blood could be spilled.
"Wait! Can't we settle this in a less violent way?" Bugs asked. Mickey eyed him.
"What do you mean?" Mickey asked.
"I was thinking... The ice-skating contest is coming up..." Bugs started. Mickey was confused but thought of something.
"Oh yeah... These two should enter... If they win, I'll leave them alone... But if they lose... You know what happens next..." Mickey smiled evilly, he soon left. Everyone was still shaken up about what happened. Gizmo and Stripe went home.
"Why did you attack Mickey!?" Gizmo cried.
"He was going to hurt you! I was just protecting you!" Stripe added. Gizmo was still processing it all.
"How did we get ourselves in this mess!?" Gizmo started crying. Stripe went to him and hugged him.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart... But don't worry, we'll practice and win." Stripe comforted. Gizmo snuggled against his chest.
"You're always so confident about everything..." Gizmo sighed. They went to sleep afterwards. The day soon came, they watched as the other skaters had their turn. Gizmo was nervous, they were all so good and elegant with their moves. It was soon their turn.
"Let's watch these two screw up..." Mickey chuckled. Bugs glared at him. Stripe took Gizmo by the hand, and they began.
"Just follow my lead, okay?" Stripe asked.
"Okay..." Gizmo nodded. They skated beautifully, they had such soft moves, twirls and spins. They smiled at each other and never took their eyes off each other. The audience were watching and were enjoying it. Mickey's jaw was slowly dropping at how fantastic they were doing. Bugs was so proud of them. At they, they leaned in and kissed each other. The crowd cheered he judges were crying at how beautiful it was. They were given a high score. Soon, it was time to announce the winner.
"And the winners are... Gizmo and Stripe!" Daffy Duck announced. They were all super happy. Gizmo and Stripe hugged each other tightly. Mickey was furious.
"This is outrageous!" Mickey yelled. He got up and was about to pounce on them, but Bugs stopped him and punched him.
"You listen here, mouse... No one hurts my friends or anyone in Warner Bros! You are here by banned from coming here! Now leave before I drop a safe on you!" Bugs threatened. Mickey was shocked, no one had stood up to him before, he grunted and stormed off. Bugs smiled.
"Now let's get married!" Stripe smiled.
"Of course!" Gizmo agreed. They kissed one more time.
