Act 1: The Breakup and Shadows of the Past

Introduction to Luna
Luna, 22 years old, stood by the window of her small apartment in Paris, watching the city lights turn on one by one. The night, with its soft starry sky, reminded her of distant memories. She often painted to escape, letting the colors dance on the canvas, but nothing seemed to truly capture what she felt inside. The bursts of red paint, a reflection of her anger, and the shades of blue, an echo of her sadness, formed a mosaic of emotions she couldn't fully understand.

She thought about her friends, Eva and Natasha, who were always there, but she often felt disconnected from them. Eva, strong and vibrant, was like a ray of sunshine in her life, while Natasha, innocent and curious, was always trying to understand others' feelings, but Luna feared dragging her into her own turmoil. Despite their presence, a persistent loneliness lingered, like an invisible shadow.

The Breakup
A year had passed since her breakup with Jake, and Luna was still living in the shadow of that relationship. The memory of their laughter and promises floated like a bittersweet perfume, reminding her of moments that now seemed out of reach. Jake, at 23, had become distant, a stranger whose thoughts and desires she no longer knew. He had chosen silence, building a wall between them that she had never known how to cross.

She recalled the days gone by, the excitement of their adventures together, and how they shared dreams. Today, all of that felt beyond her grasp, like a shooting star in a dark sky. Her pain, ever-present, was a silent companion that followed her everywhere, like a specter of memories she was desperately trying to forget.
