"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
This verse doesn't mean that God is going to give you the ability to do whatever you want. It means that God will give you the ability to do the things he wills you to do. When you are running out of endurance during sports, you can ask God to help you make it through. When you need help acting with good sportsmanship, God will help you. When you need to give your teammates grace after they mess up, God will help you.
