When Loraine woke up in the morning she felt her little girl still pressed up against her body. A pacifier laid next to the younger girls mouth, her soft breathes filling the room. As she looked at her phone she couldn't help but let out a sigh, 6:00 am.

As she quietly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom she began to get ready for her day. Loraine was able to work mainly from home, which she really appreciated, but today she needed to go into the office. Which meant  Amelia was going to have to stay home with her babysitter for the day.

Loraine finished getting ready and padded to the kitchen to start making breakfast for herself, knowing Amelia would not be awake til well after she had left the house. Loraine ate in silence til she heard a soft knock on the door. Opening the door, she greeted Morgan, welcoming her in and walking back to the kitchen.

Morgan was a little older than Amelia and had watched Amelia many other times. The older woman felt lucky to have had found her and that she was already familiar with the lifestyle they lived.

"Thank you so much for being able to come so early again, I really appreciate it" Loraine said, putting her dishes in the dishwasher. "I already filled Millie's sippy cup with milk and it's in the fridge" she continued as she turned back to Morgan.

"You know it's never a problem, I love spending time with Amelia!" Morgan replied, setting her stuff down on the dining room table.

"Well I still really appreciate it. I should be home by the time she wakes up from her nap. Call me if you need anything, okay?" Loraine gave her a smile. "Oh and your money is on the shelf, I had to put it somewhere higher because Amelia's been getting into everything." Collecting her bags she headed to the door. "I'll see you soon!" With one last smile she headed out the door.

It wasn't until 8:30 when Morgan heard Amelia's footsteps coming into the living room. As she looked to the doorway she saw the little girl with her pacifier in her mouth and her blanket cuddled close to her body.

"Good morning, Amelia." Morgan greeted as she smiled at the sleepy little girl. "Do you want to come sit down and watch some tv with me?" She asked.

"Mommy." Was the only thing the girl replied with, letting her babysitter know she was wondering where Loraine was.

After a couple seconds of waiting for the girl to come sit, Morgan decided to come to her instead. "Your mommy had to go to work this morning, she'll be back soon. How about we get your cup and go sit on the couch for a little, yeah?" Extending her arms to the little girl, picking her up and walking to the kitchen.

"Look at what your mommy put in the fridge before she went to work." Morgan said excitedly as she pulled the sippy cup from the fridge, handing it to Amelia who quickly took the cup.

The little girl took a sip before laying her head down on her babysitters shoulder and cuddling the blanket.

Morgan walked the two of them to the couch, laying Amelia down and turning some cartoons on. While the little girl was distracted by her show, Morgan took the opportunity to go get Amelia's clothes for the day as well as a fresh diaper and wipes.

When the older girl returned she smiled to herself as she watched Amelia drink her sippy cup and watch tv. "Okay cutie, come lay down so I can change you and we can get you dressed."

Amelia set her cup down on the table and shuffled over to where Morgan was with the diaper supplies, lying down and instinctively opening her legs. "New diaper?" Amelia asked. "Yes silly baby, we don't want to keep you in that wet diaper all day do we?" Morgan replied, tickling the little girls tummy as she began changing her diaper, causing the little girl to let out a giggle.

Morgan knew by Amelia's lack of speaking and full sentences that the little girl was not feeling very big at all. She knew this was common during times that Loraine was gone and was not bothered by the simple sentences or the quietness.

As Morgan finished getting Amelia ready for the day she pat the little girls tummy, letting her know she was ready to stand up and return to the couch.

The two sat for the next half hour watching tv before Amelia crawled over to Morgan and pointed at her tummy, letting the older girl know she was hungry. "Hungry sweet girl?" Morgan asked, getting a smile and nod in response from Amelia. "Trawberry!" Amelia replied, bouncing up and down on her knees.

"Okay okay" Morgan laughed, "Let me go get you some strawberries. You need something else though, you know your mommy doesn't want you just eating strawberries." The older girl reminded as she made her way to the kitchen.

Morgan cut up some strawberries, putting them in a bowl and bringing them to the table where Amelia was already sitting with her cup. "Here you go cutie, I'm going to go warm up a waffle for you, I'll be right back okay?".

As the little girls babysitter returned with her waffle she continued to eat her fruit. "I 'ove trawberries Morgan!" Amelia exclaimed as she chewed.

This caused the older girl to smile and brush some hair out of the little girls face. "I know you love strawberries, you eat them all the time silly baby. Have some of your waffle okay?" Pushing the plate closer to Amelia to encourage her.

Amelia carefully picked her fork up, stabbing a piece of waffle and putting it in her mouth before going back to her fruit.

After breakfast the little girl played quietly by herself while Morgan did some homework at the table, occasionally checking on Amelia to make sure she wasn't getting in to anything.

Meanwhile, Amelia sat in the living room playing with her farm set she had just earned last weekend. Her mommy took her to the store and let her pick out a toy for being well behaved the previous weeks. She took turns picking the small animals up and recreating the noises the animals make, placing them in their selected spots in the barn.

After a few hours of rotating between playing and watching cartoons the little girl eventually grew tired. Rubbing her eyes she looked around for her babysitter before standing up and making her way next to the older girls chair.

"When mommy coming?" Amelia asked, rubbing her eyes and sticking her thumb in her mouth.

Pushing her chair back from the table, Morgan lifted the little girl onto her lap. "She'll be home soon cutie, are you feeling sleepy?" She asked, looking at the small girl and smoothing her hair.

"Want mommy.." Is the only thing Amelia replied with, snuggling into Morgan and laying her head on her shoulder.

"I know, sweetheart. How about we go make you a baba and go lay in bed while Ms. Morgan reads you a book. Does that sound like a good idea?".

The little girl just softly nodded her head as she wrapped her arms around Morgan as she began to stand up. Walking into the kitchen she somehow managed to pour some milk into a bottle before warming it up and heading to the little girls room.

Walking into the little girls bedroom she placed Amelia in her bed, covering her up and handing her the bottle of milk. Picking a book from the bookshelf she placed herself at the end of the bed and began reading.

As Morgan read to Amelia the little girl listened intently, rarely taking her eyes off of her babysitter while she drank her bottle. But, by the end of the book, Morgan looked over and Amelia was fast asleep. The older girl waited a moment before carefully getting up and setting the book down. Collecting Amelia's bottle before she quietly exited the room, closing the door behind her.
