A rotting smell came from the woods. Locals that lived around the area started to grow concern over the awful smell. The smell got more stronger over night. Eventually someone had called the cops to go check it out. Police searched around the area and found nothing in sight. After a while of searching, blood trails were discovered by locals.
Even though it was reported many times the police were no help. Amaras family were worried sick due to her disappearance. Her family fought for the help of finding there so called 'little girl'. Apparently the police couldn't do anything about it.
They had no proof of what occurred in the woods or what happened to Amara. Eventually they decided to give up on finding someone. Many tried looking for her but then stopped after a while.
[🔪] the murderers POV:[🔪]
My eyes shot open as i looked around the room.'argh....my head...' I thought. My head was slightly bleeding and my crotch was hurting like hell. I slowly sat up and groaned in pain. "F!ck" I swore as a result of the pain.
I slowly got up and started to walk around looking to see if that pesky little girl managed to escape. I walked up the stairs and went outside as the daylight hit my pale white skin. I looked on the ground and there she was. Amara lying there looking colder than Antarctica. I grinned at the sight and dragged her by her feet, bringing her inside.
I leaned down next to her and caressed her cheek. "It wasn't meant to be my love..." A tear formed in my eye as I looked down at her bruised and beaten up face. I got up and walked towards the door. I took one last glance at Amara then I left.
[✨]the locals POV:[✨]
The smell was so sickening that I couldn't take it anymore. I had to go see for myself of what was lurking about in these woods. I walked towards the woods and started to look, around keeping an eye out for any clues. Nothing appeared in sight. Although I did see a weird small built house in the distance. I decided to check it out. I knocked on the door, no answer. I knocked again, no answer.
I started to get suspicious. I walked around to the back, my suspicion growing even bigger. I walked over to a window to see if anyone was home. No one in sight. I sighed wanting to give up, suddenly I spotted something. Something that was quite unusual.I squinted my eyes to try and get a closer look.It was hard to see anything really, the windows were dusty and messy. So I couldn't get much out of it. I squint even harder until I let out a small gasp.'is that a....hand?'
[From here on now there's no povs yet]
He reached for his phone in his pocket. The man was so shaken up that he at least got his password wrong 3 times. His hands were shaking, palms were sweating, he was in a panic. He was so pale you could mistake him as a vampire. He rapidly tap on his small phone screen. He dialed into the keypad '911' he pressed the big green button with a phone ringing symbol that appeared on his screen after dialling the number and pressed it up against his ear.
The ringing sound made him even more nervous. Every ring that passed made his heart drop. It rang four times till someone on the other line answered. "911 what's your emergency?" A female voice spoke on the other line. His breath was heavy, he was shaking in fear. He almost lost his voice. "I need...I need police sent to my location before it's to late...." He managed to spit out his words as he leaned against the wall.
"Sir I'm gonna need a lot more information than that. Can you tell me what's your name?" The feminine voice calmly spoke. "M-my name is Allen. A-Allen walker..." he answered with a shaky voice. "Alright Allen can you tell me what's going on?" She questioned. "Well there was this rotting smell coming from the woods behind my house. Many reports were put in about it but the police didn't take any of this seriously. So I decided to have a look by myself.and.." his voice trailed off as he peeked through the window and he saw the front door open.
