Unbearable Silence

8 1 2

This silence seemed to never end,
Your voice should rise and be my friend.

I know your voice still has its might,
Your words can bring a brilliant light.

Your words are words I'll never tire,
I treasure them, my heart's desire.

Mazyoun, I know I've been lacking in words,
My heart's been full, though its voice is unheard.

Perhaps the reason for silence is vast,
Too many to count, too many to ask.

I'm quiet and still, words stuck in my throat,
I long to speak, but it's just a gloat.

I see others' words like joyful notes,
While mine are silent, like a broken boat.

I feel so broken, so very wrong,
Is silence my fate, a ceaseless song?

But perhaps I'll speak, my words will flow,
And silence will cease, my story to show.

But still I seek your forgiveness like  mad,
For silence is not how this tale should end.

...

When I found myself trapped in my thoughts.. and can't express my feelings.. l wrote this to break free from that unbearable silence.
