LOGAN'S POV:

Ken and I were deep in the forest, navigating the shadowy trees under the starry night sky. Our mission was to locate Kenneth's essay paper, which had unexpectedly flown out of his bag when a sudden gust of wind swept through the area. Kenneth's voice broke the silence as we swept our flashlight beams across the ground, searching through damp leaves and underbrush. He had stumbled upon a hidden cave partially concealed by vines and undergrowth.

Curiosity piqued, we stepped inside, the cool air contrasting sharply with the warm night outside. To our astonishment, Kenneth's paper was lying on the ground amidst the damp, rocky surroundings. But that wasn't the only discovery we made. Just a few feet away, the cave walls were adorned with ancient writings etched in a language none of us could recognize. The symbols swirled and twisted, creating an eerie sense of wonder, resembling what one might imagine as the language of an ancient god.

Kenneth squinted at the markings, his brow furrowing in concentration. With his knowledge of several ancient languages, he attempted to decipher them, but the letters danced in ways that eluded his understanding. A sense of excitement bubbled up in me as I reached for my phone. I snapped a picture of the mysterious inscriptions, hoping it might hold answers later.

Afterward, we stepped back out into the cool night air, the weight of the discovery settling in. The forest was quiet, and as we walked back home, the thrill of the unknown lingered in the air. We made plans to dive into the translation after school the next day, eager to uncover the secrets that lay within those ancient symbols.

THE NEXT DAY:

As I stepped into the bustling hallways of the school, the familiar sounds of chatter and laughter surrounded me. My eyes were drawn to Kenneth, who stood by the bulletin board, intently studying the faded picture of the ancient writings I had sent him just the night before. Intrigued by his focused expression, I made my way over to him.

💙 - "What do you think?" I asked, eager to hear his thoughts on the mysterious text that had captured my imagination.

❤️ - "Still nothing. I was trying to translate it all night, but still nothing..."

💙 - "Well, we should Mrs. Madelyn after school. Maybe she knows..."

❤️ - "Okay...well, see you later at Spanish class..."

💙 - "See you later..."

KENNETH'S POV:

As I walked into the film production class, I had my camera in one hand and our group's script in the other. The room was buzzing with excitement as I noticed other groups deep in their projects. When I finally made it to my team, I was surprised to see that Lily, the popular girl everyone talks about, was helping out. Maybe she's not as bad as I thought after all; she was getting into it and making some solid contributions to our group.

"Hey~ There's our group leader!!" Lily cheerfully said.

"Yeah, what took so long?" Liam, one of the characters in the film, asked.

❤️ - "Sorry, I needed to talk to someone..."

"It's fine, besides, we already memorized the script..." Alex said.

❤️ - "Okay. So, let's get to work!" I said as the team followed him to a corner of the classroom.
