Episode 16:

The scene escaped the recaps.

The scene went to Koro-sensei standing outside the old campus.

"Tests are a good thing. The knowledge gained from a night of cramming will be all but forgotten once you hit adulthood. And that's fine." Koro-sensei said. "The experience you gain through competition, having sharpened your skills and broadened your minds all under the same set of rules... That is the real treasure." He added.

The scene went to the exam - well not really - more like a ring battle with monsters.

Everyone looked on anxiously. Well, couldn't blame them, after all they saw the monsters.

Nagisa dodges an attack from the monster. 'So fast!' He gritted his teeth. The monster hits more students who didn't manage to counter nor avoid the attack.

'It's so much tougher than midterms!' Nagisa thought as more students got thrown. 'At a combined junior-senior high prep school, it's not usual for junior-high students to start learning at a high-school level during third year.'

Nagisa charges forward only for the monster to blow beams at him as he quickly dodges all of it.

The scene went back to reality.

'The fastest-paced subjects at our school are English, Math, and Science. But the same conditions apply to us all.'

'If he can avoid them, then that must mean... he's getting...smarter?' Asano narrowed his eyes at the thought of it. No way, right? The only thing this blue haired boy is good at is none other than assassination...

The scene went to the giant monster, it glows in the color of blue, black, and red. Tomoya stood in front of it with a weapon in hands.

"So this is the last problem?" He smirked 'Those scrubs! I spent a year in Los Angeles when my folks worked there. There's no way any junior-high level stuff will trip me up now!' He then attacked the monster, words showed up on the monster where Tomoya hit it.

If you want to know the truth,
I felt like slapping the cook's face
a hundred times.

Asano looked on in shock as Tomoya looked on proudly.

Nakamura shook her head.

'Wrong.' The same thoughts of Asano (who is quite angry) and Nakamura (laughing)

It then shows a triangle meaning it's wrong, which of course regained the monster's energy and shocked Tomoya.

'It's not going down? What the... That was a textbook answer!'

"How?!" Tomiya asked and Asano gritted his teeth as Nakamura laughed.

Right when he's backing out - ehem - Nakamura ran and jumped onto the monster hitting it with a weapon on its head.

"A little stiff, don't you think? Don't try so hard, Honor Roll!" She winked at him as the words showed up on the monster's head.

Honestly, I wanted to give
that cook a hundred slaps in the face.

The monster popped up and disappeared, a mark of circle/flower was shown, it all means that she got it correctly.

'A perfect score? From the E Class?!' Tomoya stared in shock. "I'm guessing you never read Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye." ". Nakamura smiled at him.
