By the time the carriage reached Noctis, it was already twelve o' clock, just as Levana predicted. The fair had thousands of stalls, each for either gifts or food.

"Alright, once you children are done dilly-dallying, come back to the carriage. Me and the barons will go to the food court." Cyril said. "Here's some bags of silver."

Cyril plopped the bags into each of their hands and left. The siblings eagerly went off. While Lily was forced to join Thorne and Hecate. The trio went passed an archery stall.

"Hello! Shoot 3 bull-eyes and you get a slice of cake!" The vendor told them.

"How much silver for 3 slices?" Thorne asked.

The vendor chuckled. "You need to shoot 9 bull-eyes for that, young one."

"How much silver for 3 slices?" Thorne repeated, glaring at the vendor.

"Uh... Well... 3 pieces of silver?" The vendor stuttered.

"Perfect," Thorne threw the silver at the vendor.

The vendor eagerly placed them inside a small leather bag.

Thorne looked at the bows and arrows neatly stacked. He picked nice ones and he strung the bow. After that was finished, he positioned the bow directly into the target. He released the bowstring, and the arrow landed directly on the red dot.

The vendor stared in shock for a brief moment. He then gave Thorne a plastic container with chocolate cake, decorated with a chocolate skull.

Thorne continued, effortlessly shooting through each of the bulls-eye one by one, until he was finished with nine.

The vendor smiled while giving Thorne the slices. "You'd be a good archer some day, young one." He said.

"Oh... Really?" Thorne said, stacking the cakes.

"Of course! Has nobody told you that?" The vendor said.

"Well... I guess not," Thorne said.

"Well, follow your dreams, kiddo." The vendor said.

The trio then walked away. Thorne looked a bit... Troubled.

"Thorne? What's wrong?" Hecate asked.

"I don't know. That vendor... He just, made me realize how controlling dad is about our future careers, I wish he was less... Strict, y'know? I know we are nobles, but I wish I was a regular kid sometimes."

"Me too," Lily mumbled.

"Hey look!" Hecate gasped, she ran to a nearby stall.

There was an elderly man, he had no hair and he wore glasses. "Hello, m'lady... Would you like to play for some candles?"

Lily and Thorne did not see anything good about having candles. But Hecate was overjoyed.

"How much?"

"Oh, um, 1 silver, m'lady." The elderly man said.

Lily walked up to the stall, she saw an empty bundle. The bundle was used for the vendors to store their money, but this elderly vendor had none.

"Uhh, how about we all play, for 5 silver each?" Hecate offered.

"Oh... But, I wouldn't want you to..." The elderly man began.

"It's fine! I have a lot more," Hecate said, kindly giving the man 15 pieces of silver. By technicality would be enough to buy food and necessary needs.

"Well... If you say so," The man said. "The goal of the game is to shoot 5 skulls into these hoops, and you'll earn a candle shaped as a skull. If four, you get a moon. It's cinnamon scented."
