CHARACTERS 

Carine White 

Carine is a strong-willed and conflicted young woman, torn between her growing feelings for a new guy at varsity and her long-distance relationship with Keith. As she struggles with this emotional turmoil, she is also determined to uncover the truth behind her father's mysterious death. 

KEITH KANANGA 

Keith is a 20-year-old with a strong sense of responsibility, serving as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) in his father's business. His upbringing in a wealthy, high-profile family—his mother being a famous lawyer—has shaped him into someone driven and focused, but also protective, especially when it comes to his relationship with Carine. Despite his success, he harbors insecurities, particularly about the distance between him and Carine as she embarks on her university journey.

Mr. Harden 

Mr. Harding is a renowned scientist, celebrated for creating a cure for the deadly ZXC virus that once ravaged the people of Durban, and also a Doctor in Zwille Private Hospital. He's known not only for his groundbreaking medical work but also for being a devoted husband to Angelina and a responsible stepfather to her children. However, despite his noble reputation, a dark cloud looms over the family—Angelina's first daughter, Carine, is accused of being involved in the mysterious death of Mr. White, a fellow scientist in Durban. This accusation casts suspicion and tension within their once-united household.

ANGELINA ( Mommie) 

Angelina is a dedicated housewife, striving to rebuild her strained relationship with her first daughter while balancing her role as a loving mother and wife.

JACK 

Jack is a charismatic senior student at the University of Cape Town, deeply in love with Carine and determined to win her heart, even as she remains committed to her long-distance boyfriend, Keith. Torn between friendship and his feelings, he is willing to fight for her affection, believing their connection is worth the struggle.

TIM

Tim is Carine's loyal best friend, always there to provide unwavering support and encouragement as she navigates the challenges of university life and her relationship with Keith. With a cheerful demeanor and a knack for making her laugh, he offers a comforting presence, ready to lend an ear or a helping hand whenever she needs it.
