The Haunting of Westwood Sanatarium

It has been now almost officially four years that Westwood Sanatarium has open its doors by four doctors who founded it. The founders of Westwood Sanatarium continues to help their patients best they know how to and what does work. By now they are seeing all sorts of mental illness some more violent than others and those who violent become residents to the hospital. Since the hospital either having residents and temporary guest the group meetings for the patients are going on every day so keeping the patients busy was what the founders believed they needed to help cope with their mental illness. Meanwhile the patients on the third floor no matter what will act up with angry outburst while they end up being restraint until they learn to control themselves. Today the third floor still is locked unit for the safety of others in the hospital don't need these violent patients wondering around and who knows who they can hurt. The fourth floor still has little admit of people because between first floor and second usually when patients time is over for them that bed opens for another. Westwood Sanatarium has seen many temporary patients have gone home while new patients always come in only the real violent ones stay especially too violent to be out there. So it will be Maxim Winters who has less patients plus makes it easy for him to spend more one on one time with them really allowing them to express themselves which he notices it does really help his patients. Since there are more patients so the founders hired more staff to help them do they hired twelve doctors four for each of the third floors since the fourth floor wasn't enough patients to place more doctors and nurses on that floor. When the New staff has arrived the founders had a meeting explaining to the new staff members the treatments they are currently using for their patients and the diet the four agreed on as the new members listen to how the hospital is being run. Since the new staff members already been a great help especially the nurses making sure the patients gets to their groups every day plus make sure they have their meals and showers to while taking extra care with the violent patients. Since there are more nurses each assign to a number of patients they to help hold meetings while others help bring more arts and crafts they could get because they to notice some of the patients seem calm when doing arts and crafts so they use the hospital money to make sure their patients have plenty arts and crafts to do. When it came to writing therapy one of the nurses gave them a challenge to see if they could handle writing a short story. The patients liked that idea so they all starting writing their own short story some were happy stories while some where gloomy but everyone in group came up with their own story. The nurse who held the group showed the doctors the short stories the patients have written which the four did read through them after they done the doctors for first floor and second held a group meeting to let their patients knows they are all creative when it comes to story telling that they should all be pleased with themselves and of course they were happy for that moment. From there they were allow to write short stories along with their other writing therapy to that made some patients happy because some of them did have talent for writing. Before the end of the year sadly another patient on the third floor took his own life because he didn't want to remain in the hospital no more and wanted to get out but was told he is high risk to let out that he has to remain here that just set him off so when no one was looking he hung himself in his room as his neck snapped when he did. After that the doctors had a meeting trying to decide how to stop more patients taking their own life as the meeting lasted for hours. Now medicine was decided to give the patients on the third floor a pill that will keep them calm so they were given a sedative just enough to keep them calm. So the patients on the third floor would either shock therapy or Hydrotherapy which is always getting warm bath or shower now sedatives are now being given because the outburst one of the patients would have. When thanksgiving was here the patients were given a turkey feast which contains turkey meat, mash potatoes with gravy and carrots with butter along with a dinner roll. The four doctors decided this year to eat in the dining room with the patients and they did the same for Christmas as well while they would wish them happy holidays as they would wish the same for the doctors. By now some patients have left while new patients came as they to get used of the routine the hospital has. So the year ended with no more problems or deaths being reported because the doctors all hoped the sedation was needed to stop more patients taking their own life. Since the death report so far that has happened inside Westwood Sanatarium now the four doctors are more alert with the patients on the third floor more than normal. So the doctors who handles the patients on the third floor regularly check in with their patients more than they would normally do so they regularly check on them everyday. When the patients do have their outburst sadly some of the nurses would get hurt certain degree but nothing that they couldn't get patched up some have left and some have stayed. When the founders heard that some nurses have left because of the outburst the patients have so now they have to hire more nurses to replace the ones that have left so the other nurses all wait until more help comes so they split the patients that list their nurses amongst themselves until the hospital gets more nurses.
