Bakuage #19: Puppet Tomfoolery

Boon Navy arrived in Tokyo and knew that he needed a new monster. It was at this moment when he eye a hand puppet on the ground, and smiled. It was at this moment when a dark tendril emerged out of his hand and wrapped around the puppet. This transformed the puppet into the Gas Drinkers' newest monster grunt known as Pierre of the Puppetry.

"Let the performance begin!" Pierre bellowed

"Pierre, I want you to trap two of the Boonboomgers inside of your puppet, can you do that?" Boon Navy asked

"Yes sir!" Pierre bellowed

"Good. Just leave Boon Red to me, he's mine." Boon Navy said

"Okay. But, what do you want me to do when I've captured two of them?" Pierre asked

"Send them to a puppet world where they will be trapped, and will only return when you are defeated." Boon Navy said

"You can count on me!" Pierre bellowed

As Pierre of the Puppetry sprang to life, his eyes glinting with mischief, the streets of Tokyo trembled under the weight of impending chaos. He began to weave his dark magic, summoning shadowy strings that danced in the air like a sinister marionette show.

Meanwhile, at their headquarters, the Boonboomgers gathered, sensing the disturbance. Yosuke looked at his teammates, determination etched on his face. "We've got to stop whatever Boon Navy is planning!"

Mika nodded, her focus sharp. "We can't let them trap anyone. We have to work together!"

Just then, the team's Sonic Boonboom Changers beeped to life, alerting them to the threat. "Boon Navy is up to something!" Satoru warned, glancing at the others. "We need to move!"

As they rushed to the park, Pierre's laughter echoed ominously. "Let's play a game, Boonboomgers!" he taunted, spinning his strings around trees and lampposts, creating a labyrinth of puppetry.

The team arrived to find Pierre, who smirked at their presence. "Welcome to my stage! Time to choose your roles!" He flicked his wrist, sending tendrils towards Mika and Kisaragi, aiming to ensnare them in his puppet strings.

"Daredevil Racer—Boon Red!" Yosuke shouted, stepping forward to shield his friends. "Not on my watch!"

"Police Racer—Boon Black!" Mika added, readying herself to confront the puppet menace.

"Let's break these strings!" Satoru shouted as he activated his transformation, and the others followed suit, forming a united front against Pierre.

As the battle began, Pierre danced around them, his strings ensnaring Kisaragi and Kourin, pulling them toward him. "You're coming with me!" he cackled, the shadows wrapping tighter.

"No!" Yosuke yelled, lunging forward, but it was too late. The two were lifted off the ground, trapped in Pierre's puppet grasp.

"Now to the puppet world you go!" Pierre declared, his voice dripping with glee.

Mika felt a surge of panic, but she quickly refocused. "We can't let him get away with this! Yosuke, we have to distract him!"

"Right!" Yosuke agreed, rallying the team. "We'll keep him busy while we think of a plan!"

As they fought, Yosuke found an opening. "Mika, use your new power-up! Boon Black Police Mode!"

Mika nodded, determination flooding her veins. She activated her transformation. "Boon Black Police Mode!" A rush of energy enveloped her, and she felt empowered.

With renewed vigour, she charged at Pierre, deflecting his strings with newfound agility. "You won't get away with this!"

Meanwhile, Satoru strategized. "If we can distract him long enough, maybe we can break Kisaragi and Kourin free!"
