POV: Assistant Steve

The professor sent me to investigate the sorce of the new energy spike. The last one I was late arriving to the scene, and we think someone took the specimen. This time, I got there before anything else could. This time, I would bring the specimen to my creator, and he could do whatever experiments he wanted to do. With this task set as my current objective, I opened the first door and then rolled past and through the 2nd. I was now at the somewhat, poorly kept secret, hidden door and pressureplate.

I didn't get a chance to turn my motors for my wheels. The specimen had stood on the other pressureplate and had walked right into me. I rolled back and attempted to grab the very colorful specimen before the hidden door crushed them. They had ducked under my arm and backed into the room. I didn't get a good look at them but that doesn't matter. I knew that would have to come out eventually. So I was going to wait at the exit. I waited for several minutes at the exit, not moving as my metal parts would notify the specimen that I was still here.

After about 15 minutes, the colorful specimen had bolted out of the hidden door so fast my systems barely had enough time to react. I had put myself between them and the exit. Their first reaction to that was a poor one. The specimen chose to kick me of all things. They kicked me in the head and fell to the ground. Meanwhile, I was unaffected by said kick, and reached down and grabbed the specimen by a very Violet and Indigo leg. "Stop moving moron." I said in my robotic voice, as they thrashed around. "Put me down!" The colorful specimen yelled at me. "No, I have orders from my creator to investigate the strange energy spike, and you are here, so I will bring you back to the lab." I said emotionlessly back.

The specimen continued to struggle in the air, trying to get my hand to let go of their ankle. I didn't want to keep the Professor waiting so I pulled out my teleporting device and pushed the big red button. There was the shock of artificial lightning on me and the now freaking out specimen, then the blinding white light and the feeling of everything rushing around before we finished teleporting. I had teleported me and the specimen to my room. I looked down at the specimen to see they were dazed and not fighting as much anymore. "Specimen seems to be dazed after teleport. Added to new file of unknown energy spike at Red Scout's house." I said out loud documenting the strange event.

I was able to effortless heft them over my shoulder as not only was I made that strong but also because the specimen didn't fight me at all in their current state. I then rolled my way to the elevator, pushed the down button and waited. The colorful specimen started thrashing again although much weaker than before when the elevator started moving. I held onto them the entire way down. When the door opened I rolled out and to a room with a locking machine in it. As I was rolling I could feel the specimen slow down and begin to go limp on my shoulder. Although I myself didn't care if it died, I knew fathe- I mean the Professor would like to keep them alive. So I speedup my pase and swifty put the, I think dieing, specimen in the machine and sealed it with glass. Once I did that I immediately flipped the lever to turn on and lock the machine.

With all this done and delta with, the colorful specimen I never took the time to get a good look at, closed thier eyes and fell unconscious. "That was a close one. It might have died if I had taken my time." I said. The machine wasn't made to make the specimen unconscious, it was made so they just couldn't move. Having now finished my task, I went to get the Professor who should be telling the Red Leader about the energy spike and how he sent me to investigate it. I hate how the Red Leader made the Professor program a check in with him so the Red Leader knows what the Professor does all the time.
