Interview with Michael Bisping
Bisping: Ladies and Gentlemen, arguably the most viral woman in MMA right now. Kate Parker."
Kate: Thank you Bisping. You're an inspiration man
Bisping: I appreciate it, but we are here to talk about you. You've been on a tear. Eleven fight and eleven finishes. The boxer who's a submission machine. How did that come about?
Kate: It's actually funny. Once I started doing MMA my coach said forget the striking since I had it down. Been working submissions a whole bunch, and I find it easier than striking. Hurts a lot less.
Bisping: Well that is certainly true, so I won't keep you long. Tell us about you and your backstory Kate.
Kate: I don't really have the fighting in martial arts or streets story a lot of fighters have. I was just a normal girl who didn't know what to do after high school. Boxing looked great, and then one night a friend hit me up saying I should try out fighting in some dudes back yard. Rest is history.
Bisping: Sounds like you made the right choice, but I'll ask what's next for you?
Kate: Well I can announce a fight against Macy Chiasson coming up. Fight Night 279 main event. My first one, so got to get ready for media.
Bisping: Sounds like it'll be a hell of a fight. I won't waste any more of your time. Thank you for coming on the podcast.

Fight Night Main Event Media Day
Question 1: When you look at the experience Macy has over you. Does that in anyway bother you?
Kate: Of course I know she's going to think she knows more than me, but here's the truth. You can be in 100 fights and still be a bad fighter. She's a bad fighter. If she was great she'd be great.
Question 2: Some fighters say you play up your attitude for attention instead of being yourself. Have any comments on that?
Kate: I think they say that because they have no personality. Ever since Ronda got her head kicked off by Holly no one cared about this division. Now they care. Nunes, Holm, Peña, and all the rest couldn't sell a ticket to save their life.
Question 3: What's the game plan for this fight? You going to use the boxing or grappling more?
Kate: I'm not a grappler that's the thing about me. I just see an opening to lock in a submission, and I take it. Let's see if I can't break Macy's face this time.
Question 4: To all the online trolls that hate on women's MMA and saying you don't deserve to main event this card. What would you say to them?
Kate: Screw them. They'll never be where I am. I'm not going to deny they add something to the sport though. Of course they bring more eyes to it, but why would they hate me? I do everything right.
