Author POV

(Morning)

Amelia stirred awake as the soft morning light filtered through the curtains. She stretched her sore naked body covered with duvet, a groggy sigh escaping her lips. Slowly, she opened her eyes, only to find Edward's strong arm draped over her. His warm gaze met hers, and a gentle smile curved on his lips.

"Good morning, sweetheart," he greeted in his deep, tender voice.

"Good morning," she replied softly, her lips curling into a shy smile.

As she tried to sit up, he quickly shifted to help her, gently guiding her head to rest comfortably against the pillow. His movements were so careful, so thoughtful, that her heart swelled with warmth.

"You applied ointment," she murmured, her eyes widening slightly as she became aware of the soothing coolness on her skin.

"Yup," he replied with a teasing grin. "So, do you remember yesterday?"

Her cheeks turned a delicate shade of pink as memories from the previous day came flooding back. "Yeah," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper as the blush deepened.

Edward chuckled, clearly enjoying her flustered state. "Hmm, my wifey's alcohol tolerance is increasing, I guess," he teased playfully, his tone light and mischievous.

Amelia ducked her head shyly, her fingers nervously playing with the corner of the blanket. "I got sober when you fucked me for the first time" she admitted, her voice trembling with bashfulness.

A spark of affection lit in his eyes as he leaned closer, gently pinching her blushing cheek. Amelia's shy laughter filled the room, a melody that made his morning even brighter. Her eyes drifted to the faint mark on his neck, and a shy smile tugged at her lips.

"Rest a little longer, and then we'll have breakfast and head back home," Edward said, his voice soft yet firm.

Amelia nodded in response, her tired eyes reflecting contentment.

"Do you want something?" he asked, noticing her glance around the room.

Her gaze landed on his shirt draped over the chair. "Your shirt," she replied softly.

Edward chuckled and fetched it for her, helping her slip it on and carefully buttoning it up for her. She looked at him with a shy smile, her heart warming at his gentle care.

"I hope you enjoyed this honeymoon trip," he said, his eyes searching hers with a mix of curiosity and affection.

A tender smile graced her lips as she leaned her head against his chest, savoring the warmth of his embrace. "I loved this trip, Edward. I'll never forget it. Thank you," she whispered, her voice filled with sincerity and gratitude.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, his heart swelling at her words. "Making you happy is all I want," he murmured.

After having breakfast, they both went to change their clothes Amelia finished tying her hair and turned to see Edward adjusting his shirt in the mirror. Smiling softly, she walked over to him, dragging the stool from the dresser. Climbing on top, she adjusted herself to match his height.

"Hold still," she said, her voice warm as she reached for the tie he was holding. It was the one she had gifted him on his birthday, along with the tie pin. Carefully, she looped it around his neck and began tying it, her delicate fingers moving with precision.

Edward watched her with a fond gaze. "You know, I could get used to this," he teased, his lips twitching into a grin. "My wife personally fixing my tie every morning."
