10 YEARS LATER.

Today was officially the 10 year mark of me being here. It really sucked that for the past 10 years I haven't had a real birthday. No cake, No family to celebrate it with, no gifts. Even though those weren't important. But of course Rigel didn't have to worry. Mrs. Margaret did everything for him. I don't understand why I'm hated so much by her. Adeline walked in and walked over to me and Nica. I was sitting on her bed as she played with her rat.

"There here" Adeline said looking at me and Nica.

"I don't want to leave you." Nica said

"Don't worry. I'll be fine" She replied

"We will visit you. Don't worry." I say to Adeline looking at Nica.

"Don't." She said. "Get as far as you can from here." then paused. "Free you're souls from Grave." She added.

"I don't want to leave you." A tear falls from my eye. She hugs me tight before me and Nica head downstairs. We walk down the hallway to the front door. I look back just for memories to flood my brain. All the bad and good times. All at once. I turn and walk towards my new parents. Anna and Norman. Me and Nica hand in hand walking towards them. I can't believe I finally have a family. I can't believe me and my best friend will be there together. This is just a trial but hopefully they say yes. Just as we were leaving Rigel had to ruin it. He started playing the piano which interested Anna and Norman. They walk into the room he was in and watched him play.

"Who's that?" Anna asked in amazement.

It takes me a minute to answer. "Rigel." I say after some time. Next thing I know they also want to adopt Rigel.

"Are you sure you want all 3?" Mrs. Margaret asks.

"Yes." Anna replied.

"3 teenagers can be hard to take care of. Maybe you just want Rigel and Nica." Mrs. Margaret says to them. I stand there trying to hold a tear in.

"Like you said it's just a trial but I'm sure we will be fine. Our house is big enough." Norman adds.

"Okay. And if you fail the trial Ivy, You're coming back here." I look at Nica. Why was she always picking on me.

"I'm sure she will be fine." Norman said. We put our stuff in the car. I sat in the middle Rigel on the left of me and Nica on the right. I was talking to Nica about random stuff the whole car ride. I think Rigel was listening in but I really didn't care. We arrive at our new home. We walk in and they show us the living room.

"Oh do you guys play piano?" Nica asked. I turn around to see a piano

"Actually our son use to." Norman replied. I look at Anna. She looks like she's about to cry.

"Okay want to see your rooms?" Anna asked and we nod.

"Norman take Rigel to his room. Let's go." She says and we follow her. We see Nica's room first. It was really pretty.

"My friend helped me design it so I hope you like it." Anna said

"I haven't had my own room in awhile." Nica replied.

"Okay Ivy want to see your room?" She asked and I nodded. She walked me to my room. It was really pretty. It had pink wallpaper with sheer white curtains. With a curtain underneath for privacy.
