The sun beamed through the large window in the master bedroom, forcing nana to open her eyes. She rolled over to the left, where Notti should've been, but he was gone. She scanned the room for a clue of where he might've gone. There was pieces of clothing and underwear scattered around the room due to last night's festivities. But the bathroom light was off and the door was shut. So he wasn't in there. The closet light was also off so he obviously left the room.
Janelle slipped out of bed and picked up the clothes to put them in the dirty clothes hamper. She went inside the closet and grabbed one of Notti's shirts and boxers before leaving the room. As soon as she opened the door, she heard the song 𝖨 𝖫𝗂𝗄𝖾 𝖻𝗒 𝖦𝗎𝗒 playing throughout the front of the house, along with the sound of food sizzling on the pan, and faint laughter. She could smell bacon, and eggs, and waffles.
Once she came around the corner she saw Notti over the stove, and the twins playing in pancake batter as they stood at the counter on their stools.
"Mommy's awake!" Josiah tried to whisper to Notti but Janelle definitely heard him.
