Orm sat at her desk, the atmosphere in her room calm and pensive, her gaze fixating on the window. It was a quiet Sunday, the kind of day where everything seemed to happen just a little more slowly. Her study materials lay open in front of her, but her thoughts had drifted elsewhere.

Just then, a sudden burst of movement from outside snatched Orm's attention. The door to her room swung open, revealing Prigkhing, her friend bursting into the room with a vibrant display of energy.

Prigkhing practically glided into the room, her entrance marked by a wave of energy that was hard to ignore. In one hand, she clutched two tickets, her face split by an excitable grin, her eyes glimmering with contagious anticipation as she approached the desk where Orm sat.

"Guess what?" Prigkhing said, her voice bright and filled with a giddy excitement.

Prigkhing didn't wait for a response. The energy radiating from her was too strong, too overwhelming to wait for a reply. She placed the tickets down on the desk next to Orm's books, her eyes scanning Orm's face.

"I got us these tickets for a surprise performance! It's in a few hours," Prigkhing said, her words tumbling out almost too fast to keep up with. "It's going to be amazing. You have to come."

"I know you don't know much about this band, but trust me, they're amazing! They're called The Apex, and they're one of the hottest new bands in the underground rock scene right now. It's their first time playing in a venue like this."

Prigkhing reached down, her fingers lightly grazing the surface of the tickets as she spoke.

"It was a miracle I even got these tickets," she said. "They sold out within minutes, and only a handful of people managed to snag front-row tickets like we have. It's also a special VIP meet and greet thing after the performance, so we get to meet the band!"

Prigkhing looked at Orm, her expression shifting to one of pleading hopefulness. "Please, you have to come with me. I don't want to go alone."

Orm realized that she had been drawn deep into her studies of late, neglecting the social aspect of her life. It felt as if her world had become a bubble of books and notes. Maybe, she thought, it was time to return to the social and energetic self that she normally was. And besides, Prigkhing looked so desperate for her to say yes.

"Alright," Orm finally relented.

Prigkhing's grin widened even further, her eyes sparkling with a pleased excitement. "I knew you'd come around!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing with the jubilance that radiated from her. "You won't regret this, I promise."

She picked up the tickets, tucking them safely into her bag.

"Just a heads up, we need to leave in an hour," she warned.

Orm's eyes widened as the reality of Prigkhing's words sank in. An hour? That didn't give her much time to get ready.

"Wait," she protested, her voice echoing with surprise. "You're just telling me now? I need time to get ready!"

Prigkhing shrugged, her carefree nonchalance irritating Orm just a little.

"You look fine as you are," Prigkhing said, her gaze sweeping over Orm's form. "It's not like a rock concert is a formal affair. Just throw on something casual, and you'll fit right in."

Orm's earlier calm was now replaced with a flurry of frantic activity. She sprinted around her apartment, quickly transitioning from a studious, laid-back girl into a tornado of preparation.

"I need to take a bath, pick out something appropriate, do my hair, fix my makeup," she muttered, her words tumbling over each other in a chaotic rush. "I've got less than an hour. How did I manage to get roped into this?"
