The darkness erupted with the sound of battle. Wolves—dozens of them—broke through the treeline, their eyes glowing in the moonlight as they charged toward the pack. Luna's heart pounded in her chest as she saw the enemies racing toward them, their snarls filling the air. This was it—the fight had begun.

"Hold the line!" Lorenzo shouted, his voice rising above the din. He shifted into his wolf form, a massive black beast with glowing green eyes that seemed to pierce through the chaos. He howled, the sound echoing through the night, and the rest of the pack followed suit.

Luna felt the power surge through her as she shifted, her wolf form emerging effortlessly. She had never felt so in tune with the animal inside her. Her senses sharpened, and the forest came alive in new ways—the rustling of leaves, the shifting of the earth beneath her paws, the scent of enemies closing in. She could feel the strength of the pack around her, their collective energy pulsating through the air.

The first wave of attackers reached them, and Luna sprang into action, leaping toward a wolf charging her way. Their bodies collided with a thud, and Luna wasted no time sinking her teeth into her opponent's shoulder, using her strength to throw him off balance. The enemy yelped in pain but quickly recovered, snapping at her with vicious jaws. Luna dodged, her movements fluid and swift, before lunging forward and taking him down.

As the minutes stretched into what felt like hours, the battle raged on. Luna found herself fighting alongside Lorenzo, their movements perfectly in sync as they took down enemy after enemy. "We need to push them back!" Lorenzo growled, his voice barely audible over the noise. "We can't let them break through our defenses."

Luna nodded, her wolf's eyes glowing with determination. "We need to lure them deeper into the forest," she replied, her voice just as fierce. "If we can trap them there, we'll have the upper hand."

Lorenzo agreed, and with a swift howl, he signaled the pack to begin their retreat into the woods. Luna and the others moved as one, pulling back while still keeping the enemy at bay. It was a risky move, but it was their best chance.

The enemy wolves pursued them, falling right into their trap. As soon as they entered the forest, Luna could feel the advantage shift. The dense trees and underbrush provided cover, and the pack used the terrain to their advantage. They ambushed Matteo's forces from all sides, catching them off guard.

Luna pounced on an unsuspecting wolf, knocking him to the ground with a powerful swipe of her claws. She pinned him down, her teeth bared in a threatening snarl. Before he could fight back, she bit into his neck, ending the struggle.
