"Sidharth....Sidharth.... Arrey Sid suna na...."

Sid stopped hearing Sana's voice and looked behind. He saw her coming towards her.

"Zaldi bol mujhe canteen jaana hai." He said without looking at her making her frowned.

"Itna attitude kyu dikha raha hai? Main toh thank you bolne aayi thi... Chocolate ke liye."

"Thank you bolne ki zaroorat hai. Mere paas ek extra tha aur mujhe laga morning ke incident ke liye mujhe sorry bolna chahiye isliye maine tujhe woh diya. Iska koi aur matlab nikaal na."

Sana rolled her eyes and said, "Main koi matlab nahi nikaal rahi. Haan tera yeh chocolate dekh ke I thought ki tu sudhar gaya hai but I was wrong. Kyu ki tu phir palat gaya. Periods mere chal rahe hai aur mood swings tujhe ho rahe hai."

"What???"

Sid almost freaked out.

"Nothing... Tu haath de apna." Said the Sana changing the topic.

"Mera haath kyu maang rahi hai?" Asked Sid curiously.

"Shaadi karni hai tujhse... Karega?"

Sana gave a fake to which Sid rolled his eyes.

"It was a bad joke by the way." Said Sid forwarding his hand.

Sana unwrapped the chocolate, broke it and gave him the half of it.

"Par maine toh pura tujhe diya tha."

Sana sighed and said, "Mujhe share kar ke khana pasand hai. Aur Sidharth Shukla, waise toh tu bada intelligent bane ghumta hai, humesha gyan ki baatein karta hai. Sab kuch pata hai tujhe aur itna nahi paata ki, that sharing is caring?... Also I know that, tere paas kuch extra nahi tha, tune apna hissa hi mujhe diya hai. Isliye maine socha adha adha kar lete hai."

Sid didn't reply but smiled slightly at her words.

"Waise main bhi canteen ki taraf jaa rahi hoon. Baki sab sayad pehle hi chale gaye. Hum dono saath mein chale?" She said further munching her chocolate.

Sid again made a poker face and said, "Mujhe tere saath nahi jaana. Hum dono saath mein gaye toh bakiyon ko lagega ki humari dosti hogayi. Mujhe nahi ban na tera dost."

"Of course... Tu aur tera ego... Khair, main toh chali..."

Sana started leaving suddenly she stopped and said turning back, "Waise agar tu chahe toh mera dost ban ke dekh sakta hai. Itni bhi buri nahi hoon main."

Saying that she smiled at him and left from there while Sid also smiled looking at the piece of chocolate.

Friendship with her... It can't be that bad... Is it?

Sid took a bite and started heading towards the canteen.

As soon as he entered, he found Sana sitting with other friends. She was giggling with Reem and Ashi. Sid again smiled seeing her.

The seat beside her was empty. He remembered her proposal of friendship. Maybe he could give it a try. They couldn't stay enemies for the rest of their lives when the reason behind their fight was so small.

Sid took a deep breath and started going towards her when he saw Kabir coming there and taking the seat beside Sana. Soon they both became busy in chatting.

Sid's smile disappeared seeing Sana and Kabir getting along so well. Their nature was same so it was obvious they would be friends easily. A sudden insecurity grew inside him. Maybe it was not really his place to sit.
