Scene 1: Flight from Los Angeles to Mumbai
Time: 6:00 am (Los Angeles), 6:30 pm (Mumbai)
Avikaa gazed out the window as the sun rose over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the clouds. Aditi, seated beside her, bubbled with excitement.
"Can you believe Ruhanika's finally getting married?" Aditi asked, her eyes sparkling.
Avikaa smiled. "I know, it's surreal. She's been waiting for this moment for years."
Aditi nodded enthusiastically. "And Yuvraj is perfect for her. They complement each other so well."
As they chatted, the flight attendants began serving breakfast. Avikaa and Aditi engaged in easy conversation, discussing everything from Ruhanika's wedding plans to their own business ventures.
Reyaansh's Morning
Time: 6:00 am
Reyaansh's phone rang, piercing the morning silence. He answered, his voice calm.
"Namaste, Bua," Reyaansh greeted his aunt, Malvika.
"Reyaansh, beta, I've sent the documents you requested," Malvika said, her voice warm.
Reyaansh's expression turned serious. "Thank you, Bua. I'll receive the man at the airport myself."
Malvika briefed him on the details. "He'll arrive at 9:00 am. Be careful, beta."
Reyaansh assured her, "Don't worry, Bua. I'll handle it."
They exchanged pleasantries about her health and his uncle's well-being before ending the call.
Time: 8:55 am
Reyaansh stood at the arrival gate, scanning the crowd. His eyes narrowed, searching for the man with the documents.
As the minutes ticked by, passengers began pouring out of the arrival gate. Reyaansh's gaze locked onto a figure emerging from the crowd...
At: Mumbai Airport
Time: 9:15 am
Avikaa and Aditi stepped out of the airport, greeted by the warm Indian sun. Ruhanika's driver, Raj, stood nearby, holding a placard with their names.
Meanwhile, a man from a nearby flight also emerged, phone pressed to his ear."Yes, sir. I've landed. I'll meet you shortly," he said, his tone deferential.
Reyaansh's voice echoed on the other end. "Remember, the documents are crucial. Don't fail me."
The man nodded, though Reyaansh couldn't see him. "Understood, sir."
As he turned a corner, the man collided with Raj, sending the placard flying.
The man's expression darkened. "Watch where you're going!" he snapped, blaming Raj.
Raj protested, "Sir, I was standing still. You bumped into me."
The man's anger escalated, and he slapped Raj without hesitation.
Avikaa and Aditi rushed toward the commotion, drawn by Raj's startled cry.
"Hey, what's happening here?" Avikaa demanded, her voice firm.
The man turned, his eyes narrowing. "Who are you?"
"I'm Avikaa Kapoor," she replied, her gaze steady. "And this driver is here to pick us up."
The man's expression faltered for an instant before he regained his composure.
Aditi stepped forward. "That's no reason to hit him. Apologize!"
The man scoffed. "Mind your own business."
Avikaa's eyes flashed with anger. "This is our business. You're harassing our driver."
The tension escalated as Reyaansh's voice echoed in the man's ear. "Where are you? I expect those documents now."
The man hesitated, caught between his duty and the confrontation.
Avikaa turned to Raj, concern etched on her face. "Raj, what happened?"
Raj rubbed his sore cheek. "I'm innocent, ma'am. He was on a call and bumped into me. I didn't do anything."
Avikaa's gaze shifted to the man, her eyes narrowing.
The man sneered. "You're lying! You deliberately collided with me."
Raj protested, "No, sir! I swear—"
The man raised his hand to strike Raj again.
Avikaa intervened, grabbing the man's collar and landing a solid punch.
The man stumbled back, shocked.
Reyaansh emerged from the crowd, eyes locked onto Avikaa. His expression darkened.
"What's going on here?" Reyaansh demanded.
The man played innocent. "This woman assaulted me for no reason."
Reyaansh's gaze turned icy. "You're not from India, are you? That's why you don't know how to behave."
Avikaa's anger boiled over. "How dare you—"
Aditi intervened, placing a calming hand on Avikaa's arm. "Enough, Avikaa. Leave it. We're getting late."Avikaa shot Reyaansh a venomous glance before turning to leave.
Reyaansh matched her hatred-filled stare.
As they parted ways, the air was thick with tension.
Avikaa and Aditi walked away, Raj following closely.
Reyaansh turned to the man. "Give me the documents."
The man handed over the documents, still rubbing his sore jaw.
Reyaansh's eyes never left Avikaa's retreating back.
Time Skipp
Avikaa and Aditi settled into the car, Raj loading their luggage into the trunk.
As Raj took the driver's seat, Avikaa exploded. "Can you believe that guy?"
Aditi soothed her. "Calm down, Avi. It's not worth it."
Avikaa fumed. "Arrogant, rude, and chauvinistic. Who does he think he is?"
Aditi chuckled. "You handled him well, though."
Avikaa grinned, still simmering. "I should've punched him harder."
Meanwhile, Reyaansh stood outside the airport, documents in hand.
"Thanks, Dan. You may leave," Reyaansh dismissed the man.
Reyaansh slid into his sleek black sedan, his expression dark.
As he drove toward Rathore Mansion, his anger simmered.
"How dare she?" Reyaansh muttered to himself. "No respect, no manners."
He replayed the encounter, his irritation growing.
"A foreigner, no less. Thinks she can just assault someone?"
Reyaansh's phone buzzed, breaking his thoughts.
"Rathore," he answered curtly.
"Reyaansh, beta, where are you?" Malvika Bua's voice came through.
"In route to the mansion, Bua. I have the documents."
"Good. Be careful, beta. The documents are crucial."
Reyaansh assured her. "Don't worry, Bua. I'll handle everything."
As he ended the call, Reyaansh's thoughts drifted back to Avikaa.
Her defiant gaze lingered in his mind.
