Alan stands on the playground of his school, surrounded by classmates who are excitedly engaging in various sports.Alan: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 "I guess it's time to join in..."
Alan attempts to join a game of soccer, running awkwardly toward the ball.
Classmate 1: "Pass it to Alan!"
Alan receives the ball but struggles to keep control, his movements clumsy.
Alan: thinking "I'm not cut out for this..."
He tries to run but quickly falls behind, his weak body unable to keep up.
[few minutes later]
Alan, determined to keep trying, joins another game, this time basketball. He grabs the ball and dribbles awkwardly.
Alan: thinking "I have to keep going..."
He attempts a shot, but the ball misses the hoop entirely, bouncing off to the side.
Classmate 1: murmuring "He's not really good at this, is he?"
Alan runs after the ball, but his weak body and low stamina make it difficult. He's panting heavily, struggling to keep up.
Classmate 2: whispering "He's always so tired..."
As Alan tries to pass the ball, it gets intercepted by another player easily.
Classmate 3: muttering "Maybe he should sit this one out."
The murmurs and whispers around him grow louder, filling Alan with discouragement.
Classmate 4: quietly "He's just not athletic, his girlfriend is awful."
Alan, feeling the weight of their discouragement, looks down, his confidence wavering.
Alan: thinking "I'm just not good enough..."
He forces a weak smile, trying to hide his disappointment, but the murmurs continue to echo in his mind.
Classmate 5: 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘴 "He's really struggling, does he really have a girlfriend?"
Alan steps aside, sitting on the bench, feeling dejected and out of place.*
Alan: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 "I hope Deepika's having a better day than I am..."
Alan sits alone on the bench, reflecting on his loneliness both at home and at school.
Alan: thinking "I've always been alone, whether it's at home or here..."
[Flashback to Alan at home, sitting alone in his room, studying without any encouragement or support.]
[Flashback to Alan at school, sitting by himself during lunch, watching other students laugh and chat together.]
