Alan and Deepika are sitting on a bench in the schoolyard, engaged in a deep conversation. Alan gestures animatedly as he talks about the football match.Alan: "I still can't believe I managed to score that goal. The look on everyone's faces was priceless!"
Deepika smiles warmly at Alan, her eyes filled with pride.
Deepika: "You were amazing out there, Alan. I knew you had it in you."
[Close-up of Alan, blushing slightly as he scratches the back of his head in embarrassment.]
Alan: "Thanks, Deepika. It means a lot coming from you."
Suddenly, a small boy comes running toward them, his face lit up with excitement. He looks around 5 or 6 years old, with a cute, innocent expression.
Small Boy: "Big brother! Big sister!"
The boy reaches them, grabbing onto Alan's arm and looking up at him with wide, admiring eyes.
Small Boy: "Can I play football with you next time?"
Alan and Deepika exchange a surprised but warm look, their conversation momentarily forgotten as they turn their attention to the little boy.
Alan: "Of course, buddy! We'll make sure to include you next time."
The small boy beams with happiness, clutching Alan's arm tighter. Deepika smiles gently, reaching out to ruffle the boy's hair.
Deepika: "You're going to be a great player, just like Alan."
[The scene zooms out, showing the trio sitting on the bench, the small boy between Alan and Deepika, as they continue their conversation]
The small boy is still excitedly talking about football, but Alan's expression suddenly changes as he notices a truck approaching on the road.
Small Boy: "And I want to score goals just like you!"
[Close-up of Alan's face, his eyes widening with fear as he watches the truck rumble by. His heart begins to race.]
Alan: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 "Not again..."
Deepika notices the shift in Alan's demeanor, turning to him with a concerned expression.
Deepika: "Alan? Are you okay?"
Alan clenches his fists, his body tense as he looks at the truck, memories flooding back. The small boy's cheerful chatter fades into the background.
[Narration: "The sight of the truck brought back memories he'd rather forget..."]
The truck passes, its loud engine and rumbling tires echoing in Alan's mind, causing him to freeze.
Alan: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 "Focus, Alan! Don't let it get to you..."
