Remember {Sequel to Best Friends}

Background info:

Hayes and Camille recently split up because of Hayes's move to CA. They text and FaceTime still, but nothings the same. When they become more distant, Camille makes a YouTube channel where she scored 100k subscribers. Meanwhile in CA, Hayes is living it up. He knows about Camille's YouTube channel, but rarely watches her videos.

Two years later, when Camille was at softball practice, she was hit with a softball in the back of her head, hard. She had a bad concussion and was in a coma for a month. She lost most of her memory, including everything she had with Hayes.

When Camille's concussion gets better almost a year later, she's nearly 18. On her 18th birthday, her parents decide to let her live her dream as an actress in CA. She flies out to CA and buys an apartment. Little does she know she lives 5 minutes from her long time ex.

Camille's POV

I can't believe I am finally living my dream out here in California. I bought an apartment when I first moved out here a few months ago in San Diego. I've done a few commercials and I still make my videos for YouTube. While recording a commercial, I met a girl named Kendall and we've been best friends since. She recently moved in with me, and it's so fun having my best friend around. She sometimes is in my videos, and we have so much fun together.

"Kendall, I'm gunna run to the store, I have some things to get" I said to Kendall from the kitchen.

"Okay! Pick me up something to eat?" She asked.

"Sure! Be back in an hour!"

Kendall would have gotten something herself, but she broke her leg and is on crutches so it's hard to her to get around. I set a reminder on my phone to get her lunch so I wouldn't forget. I forget a lot of things. I have a short attention span and I forget small things very quickly, because of my concussion. I lost so many memories, according to my mom. She asked me about different vacations, and I barely remember them. And she always asks me if I remember my ex boyfriend, Hayes, and I don't. I remember dating a guy and really liking him, but I don't remember anything about him.

I drove to the store and parked, and walked inside.

"Milk, eggs, yogurt, protein bars, apples, raisins, cucumbers, toothpaste, bagels, caesar dressing, broccoli and pop tarts" I read off my list.

I got everything I needed and double checked my list.

"Oh I forgot the pop tarts!" I walked to the aisle and looked at the different flavors. I couldn't find strawberry, my favorite, so I asked an employee.

"Excuse me do you know if you have strawberry pop tarts?" I asked.

"Let me check" The lady looked behind all the boxes and tried to find strawberry. "I think we're all out. Sorry"

"That's okay" I was walking out of the aisle and to the register when someone bumped into me and knocked me to the ground.

"I'm so sorry!" A guy's voice said, helping me up.

"It's fine, I'm okay" I said, staring deep into his crystal blue eyes.
